Fullscript

• Partner with Product, Design, Data, Finance, Operations, and engineers across Fullscript to translate business opportunities into practical technical solutions. • Work across the stack to deliver maintainable, observable, and scalable solutions. • Contribute to solution design, rollout planning, and measurement of business impact. • Write high-quality code, contribute to technical improvements, and maintain strong quality standards. • Review pull requests, mentor, and be an advocate for high-quality code that makes future development faster, easier, and better. • Help create a strong team culture by modeling ownership, collaboration, and thoughtful technical judgment. • Scope, plan projects, and work with other developers (front-end and back) to implement them.

Job Requirements

  • You are a strong fullstack software engineer who takes pride in building high-quality, maintainable systems and product experiences.
  • You have experience with our tech stack or similar technologies, and are comfortable building user-facing product experiences and backend services.
  • You are comfortable working with APIs and application layers such as GraphQL.
  • You write automated tests and understand their value in safe, continuous delivery.
  • You work well in ambiguity and can help create structure in a new or evolving team.
  • You are comfortable taking ownership beyond implementation, including helping shape technical direction, delivery strategy, and tradeoff decisions.
  • You are highly data-driven, and you use business and product signals such as conversion, average order value, and revenue growth to guide decisions and evaluate impact.
  • You communicate clearly and collaborate well with cross-functional partners.

Role Description We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer I/II to join our Data Ingestion Team, which builds and operates the critical infrastructure that serves as the “front door” of StackAdapt’s event flow. In this role, you’ll own technical direction for critical parts of our ingestion platform, lead large-scale initiatives, and shape how data flows across the company. The Data Ingestion team tackles complex distributed systems challenges at massive scale, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability. Our systems process over 10 billion events per day , powering core functions across bidding, reporting, billing, analytics, and machine learning. You will work on challenging technical problems and partner with teams across the company to drive key initiatives. We design + build low-latency, highly reliable distributed systems for impressions, clicks, conversions, and third-party signals, ensuring data is accurate and available to downstream teams in real time. This is a high-impact area at the core of StackAdapt’s platform, the systems you own will directly shape data quality, system reliability, and the speed at which teams across the company can build and innovate. Our work sits at the cutting edge of large-scale distributed systems, leveraging modern technologies and architectures to solve complex real-time data challenges.
