Associate Structural Engineer

CECO Environmental Corporation

• Perform member sizing conforming to LRFD and/or ASD methods per AISC 360 • Develop 3D structural models of ducting, internal liners, and support steel • Ensure designs meet AISC 360, ASCE 7, AWS D1.1, and applicable international building codes • Review fabrication drawings and answer shop inquiries • Coordinate with pipe stress/mechanical engineers and project engineers/managers • Prepare clear, organized structural calculation packages for client review

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
  • Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, RISA-3D, and AutoCAD
  • Basic understanding of high-temperature materials and thermal expansion
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Experience with Autodesk® Inventor preferred
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) status preferred
  • Knowledge of common industrial welding practices and fabrication constraints
