Regional Clinical Manager

• Ensure field team effectiveness through 1:1 field travel and coaching. • Manage clinical outcomes by ensuring the application of best practices and ABIOMED clinical training regarding patient care for patients placed on support to optimize outcomes & customer experience. • Manage and support patient implant coverage and customer communication. • Ensure employee and customer competency through the development, retention and performance management of the clinical team. • Manage the recruitment of your clinical team including building a recruiting bench for the team. • Manage the effective utilization of Per Diems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred, clinical certification required
  • 7+ years of related experience in cardiology required.
  • 5+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred or related Abiomed experience
  • Experience in interventional cardiology required.
  • Experience in a commercial environment required.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel 50% - 70% on a regular basis within the region to meet with field team and with customers required.
  • Overnight travel as needed.
  • Conduct duties and responsibilities in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations governing the medical device industry required

This role ensures high-quality, compliant, and timely work product while maintaining strong client satisfaction and consultant engagement. Serving as a people leader, Subject Matter Expert (SME), and ambassador of RCS Core Values, the Workforce Manager oversees onboarding, performance management, workload distribution, compliance, and client communication across their book of business. This role partners closely with Recruiters, Account Managers, and Workforce Leadership to ensure operational excellence and scalable workforce solutions. Key Responsibilities Consultant Leadership & Workforce Management - Provide direct day-to-day management, scheduling, workload assignment, and performance oversight for oncology documentation consultants. - Lead onboarding and transition of new hires from recruiting to operations, ensuring a warm, organized, and effective experience. - Communicate client expectations, productivity standards, and quality requirements at the start of each assignment. - Manage consultant productivity, time entry, and adherence to project deadlines. - Deliver continuous coaching, guidance, and feedback to support consultant success, growth, and retention. - Identify educational needs, recommend training opportunities, and support professional development. Client Management & Delivery - Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and consistent delivery of high-quality work product. - Lead and participate in client meetings at an agreed-upon cadence. - Attend discovery calls with Account Managers to gather critical data elements that support successful onboarding and project execution. - Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality across all assigned client accounts. - Make operational and staffing decisions that impact the assigned book of business. - Escalate risks, challenges, and client concerns to Workforce Leadership as appropriate.
