Role Description The Director, People & Culture will lead the People function at CodeRoad. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving on the Executive Team, this leader will own the full employee and contractor lifecycle across our LATAM and U.S. footprint: - Talent strategy and HR operations - Compliance - Total rewards - Learning - Culture This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has built and scaled People functions in a professional services or nearshore delivery environment, and who is energized by working in an AI-forward business. Qualifications - Based in Latin America, with full professional fluency in Spanish and English. - 10+ years of progressive HR / People & Culture experience, with at least 3–5 years leading a team. - Proven success leading the People function in a professional services, IT services, or technology consulting environment. - Demonstrated experience managing both full-time employees and a contract/contingent workforce at scale. - Working knowledge of U.S. HR compliance (federal and multi-state) alongside LATAM labor frameworks. - Hands-on experience optimizing an HRIS (BambooHR or comparable), an LMS (Coursera or comparable), and ticketing tools (Jira or comparable) for HR service delivery. - Track record of building culture and engagement in a distributed, multicultural, and multilingual environment. - Executive presence, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence at the C-suite level. Requirements - Experience supporting M&A activity: due diligence, integration planning, and post-close people strategy. - Background in nearshore delivery models serving U.S. clients. - Hands-on experience deploying AI-powered tools across the HR stack (recruiting, learning, employee experience, analytics). - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a zest for continuous learning.
