Role Description The EPC Estimator – Solar & BESS is responsible for supporting the pricing, scope review, and estimating efforts for utility‑scale solar and battery storage projects. Working closely with the Chief Estimator, this role focuses on detailed scope analysis and cost development related to EPC components, including fencing, racking, piling, balance of plant (BOP), and material procurement. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience estimating solar and BESS projects, understands how individual scopes impact overall EPC pricing, and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced pursuit environment. Key Responsibilities - Estimating & Scope Development - Develop detailed estimates for utility‑scale solar and BESS projects, supporting EPC pricing efforts - Analyze and quantify scope related to: - Fencing - Racking systems - Piling and foundations - Major materials and equipment - Balance of Plant (BOP) components - Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing validation, and scope comparisons - Identify cost drivers, risks, and value‑engineering opportunities - RFP & Proposal Support - Support the full RFP process in collaboration with the Chief Estimator - Review RFP documents, specifications, drawings, and commercial requirements - Assist in development of competitive pricing strategies and proposal inputs - Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure complete scope coverage - Collaboration & Project Handoff - Work hand‑in‑hand with the Chief Estimator to align pricing assumptions and execution strategies - Support budget reviews, pricing clarifications, and proposal revisions - Assist with post‑award budget validation and transition to project execution teams - Market & Technical Awareness - Maintain awareness of market trends affecting solar and BESS EPC pricing, including material costs and labor conditions - Understand utility‑scale construction methodologies and sequencing - Support refinement of estimating tools, databases, and pricing models Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in estimating or preconstruction for utility‑scale solar and/or battery storage projects - Strong understanding of EPC scope for utility‑scale construction - Experience with scope elements including racking, foundations, fencing, and BOP - Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents - Familiarity with EPC contracting structures and pricing methodologies - Proficiency in Excel and estimating/takeoff software tools - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting projects in the 30MW–200MW DC range - Exposure to battery energy storage systems (BESS) pricing - Experience working within a dedicated EPC estimating team - Prior collaboration with senior estimating or preconstruction leadership Growth Opportunity - Opportunity to grow into senior estimating or leadership roles within Conti’s Solar Division - Exposure to large‑scale, high‑profile renewable energy projects Why Join Conti Solar - Direct collaboration with executive‑level estimating leadership - Opportunity to deepen EPC and utility‑scale expertise - Stable platform with growing solar and BESS project pipeline - Clear career path within a specialized renewable energy EPC group

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below: New York City Metro Area: $277,200.00 - $406,000.00 Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $269,100.00 - $409,600.00 * For quota-based sales roles on Cisco’s sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined. ** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
