Scrum Master

• Serve as a catalyst for agile transformation, facilitating collaboration and driving continuous improvement across development teams. • Responsible for coaching teams on Scrum practices, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team communication and continuous process improvement. • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum methodologies, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared ownership. • Identify, escalate, and help resolve impediments and blockers that hinder team productivity and sprint progress. • Manage and prioritize product backlogs in collaboration with product owners, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives. • Monitor sprint metrics and team performance, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for optimization. • Facilitate communication between development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment. • Support team members in their professional development through coaching, mentoring, and skill-building initiatives. • Customize and adapt Agile processes to fit organizational needs while maintaining core Scrum principles. • Conduct retrospectives and implement actionable improvements based on team feedback and performance data. • Maintain comprehensive documentation of sprint activities, metrics, and team progress for reporting and analysis.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile coaching role for a minimum of 3 years
- Deep knowledge of Scrum framework, Agile methodologies, and best practices
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to guide teams through complex challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
- Proficiency in sprint planning, backlog management, and release planning
- Experience with conflict resolution and impediment removal in team environments
- Demonstrated ability to analyze team performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (preferred)
- Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms (preferred)
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other scaling methodologies (preferred)
- Experience working in software development or technology-driven environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with Kanban or Lean principles (preferred)
- Experience mentoring and developing high-performing teams (preferred)
- Background in process improvement and organizational change management (preferred)
