Job Description
Senior Analyst, HR Reporting and Analytics
Lincoln Financial
Role Description This is a hands-on, high impact role at the reporting core of our People Analytics and Reporting function. As Sr. Analyst, HR Reporting and Analytics, you will design, develop, and deliver HR reporting solutions that give leaders and managers the workforce insights they need to make better, faster decisions. From day one, you will take ownership of a high visibility, multi-year strategic initiative as the primary driver of our migration to SuccessFactors Report Stories. This work will play a key role in modernizing how reporting is built, delivered, and used across the organization. - Lead end-to-end design and delivery of new HRIS reporting and dashboard solutions, from intake and requirements through testing, implementation, and production support, while owning a steady cadence of operational reports. - Drive the SuccessFactors Report Stories migration as subject matter expert, and conduct SAP release testing and downstream impact analysis to keep the reporting environment stable and current. - Identify opportunities to retire, consolidate, and streamline legacy reports, and develop and maintain query structures, SQL statements, and data models in alignment with data governance standards. - Translate complex or ambiguous business questions into clear reporting requirements and sustainable solutions, partnering with HR COEs and business leaders to deliver meaningful metrics, dashboards, and analytical insights. - Serve as a hands-on resource for HRIS reporting tools, onboarding new users, resolving issues, and building reporting capability across the organization. - Actively leverage AI tools to automate, accelerate, and elevate the quality of reporting work across the function. - Maintain clear process documentation and deliver training and guidance to support effective user adoption of reporting tools and solutions. Qualifications - 5 to 7+ years of experience in HR analytics, business intelligence, or HR operations reporting. - Hands-on HRIS report development experience within an enterprise platform; SAP SuccessFactors Report Stories strongly preferred, with comparable tools such as Workday Prism, Power BI, or Tableau in an HRIS context considered. - Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and working with data warehouses or HR data structures. - Proven experience using AI tools professionally, with a genuine drive to leverage them to modernize and advance reporting workflows. - Strong ability to translate complex or ambiguous business questions into clear, actionable reporting requirements and communicate findings to non-technical audiences and senior leaders. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Requirements - Experience managing or mentoring direct reports; this role has the potential to include people leadership. - Exposure to broader People Analytics work. - Experience with SAP release management and impact testing in an HR technology environment. Benefits - Clearly defined career tracks and job levels, along with associated behaviors for each of Lincoln's core values and leadership attributes. - Leadership development and virtual training opportunities. - PTO/parental leave. - Competitive 401K and employee benefits. - Free financial counseling, health coaching, and employee assistance program. - Tuition assistance program. - Work arrangements that work for you. - Effective productivity/technology tools and training.
