Job Purpose and Impact The Account Representative - Retail will focus on selling our Nutrena animal feed products, services and solutions through intermediaries such as distributors and resellers. In this role, you will nurture the relationship with the channel partners and distributors, implement the company's sales and marketing activities and represent the organization to promote and sell the organization's products and services. This is a home-office-based role; however, candidates must reside in Texas: Dallas, Waco, Fort Worth and Abeline, or the surrounding areas. The position requires up to 60% travel within the designated area of responsibility. Key Accountabilities - Maintain and expand relationships with organizations, providing products, services and solutions. - Develop and deliver product demonstrations, sales bids and presentations to channel partners and distributors. - Promote and sell products and services to individuals or other organizations. - Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends. - Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services. - Focus on Hight level account management leading to business grow - Build a business plan for each account. - Influence the account team without direct authority and leadership. - Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. - Other duties as assigned. #LI-FA1 Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in animal science, Agribusiness, business or related field OR equivalent experience - Minimum of two years of related work experience in sales, business development or related field - Industry experience in feed, animal nutrition, or agriculture - Able and willing to travel up to 60% - Valid driver's license in good standing Preferred Qualifications - Proven strong account manager experience - Sales experience in animal nutrition products, feed, animal health, additives and supplements - Self-starter with strong self-motivation, able to work independently while proactively driving results - Experience building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions - Bilingual: English and Spanish Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet
