Role Description Cross Border Talents is recruiting for a Streaming Platform Advisor for the Italian Market to work remotely in Portugal. - First point of contact for viewers and a critical brand ambassador. - The right person for this role is enthusiastic at addressing our client's customers' needs aiming to provide an excellent service. - Assist viewers through phone, chat and emails regarding different queries. - Provide account and application support to viewers namely with regards to software functionality. - Provide technical support, troubleshooting system configurations, and network settings. - Provide accurate and real-time responses to the viewer's inquiries. - Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken. • Manage all assigned substation projects for FERC 1000 RFP's and Early Stage Diligence Projects • Work with Early-Stage Project Manager to support engineering requirements and scope with Development Group • Train external engineers of record (EOR) for all projects • Secure engineering consulting resources and manage project long lead major material orders • Support RFP / Diligence effort and E&C Estimating with template updates

• Predicting contact volume: Developing forecasting interfaces, data pipelines, and inference servers to predict support contact volume and determine the optimal number of support agents required for specific days and times. • Scheduling 1000s of support agents: Designing and implementing interfaces to collect and store team preferences and customer business constraints (e.g., labor laws), enabling the creation of optimal schedules for teams of thousands of support agents based on these forecasts and constraints. • MLOps: Enhancing machine learning efficiency and operations to support rapid model deployment and iteration.

Role Description As a Senior Software Engineer, you will: - Develop, update and optimize data transformation and delivery scripts, using Python and AI tools (such as Codex). - Partner with colleagues in Portfolio to modernize key editorial support systems. - Manage a customer-facing, cloud-based application. - Collaborate with product and design teams to improve customer outcomes through frequent stakeholder engagements and data-driven insights. - Reimagine and optimize content creation workflows using modern platforms, automation, and generative AI. - Engage in driving POM Discovery activities including continuous customer engagement, both internal and external, to derive solutions that meet end user, company, and technology goals. - Balance technical debt and other maintenance activities alongside new feature development within each sprint. - Work with partners and customers to establish and handle product backlogs, product estimates and budgets. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inject continuous innovation into our product roadmaps. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience. - Minimum 5 years software development experience using Java/Spring/Maven and related technologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. - Ability to perform root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and design spikes. - Strong testing skills and a focus on identifying edge cases. - Solid understanding of AI concepts, technologies and methods, including machine learning, Language, Reasoning & multimodal models, prompt & context engineering, developing and using skills & agent frameworks, RAG, and vector databases. - Hands-on experience integrating or experimenting with commercial and open-source GenAI technologies and toolkits (e.g., coding assistants, OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain). - Experience in maintaining and/or modernizing legacy or monolithic architectures, migrating systems to modular, cloud-native platforms, and implementing hybrid cloud strategies. - Ability to design and develop APIs that integrate legacy systems with modern solutions. - Comfortable designing and deploying cloud native solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure, using containers, serverless, and cloud storage/compute services. - Proven ability to build secure, resilient, scalable, high-availability enterprise systems for global user bases. - Strong experience with agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tooling such as Jira or Azure DevOps. - Demonstrated skills in working with cross-functional teams in distributed, remote-first environments. - Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
