• Manage and develop a regional payroll team • Oversee end-to-end payroll processes in all active APAC countries • Design and implement localized workflows • Provide internal payroll expertise and strategic guidance • Ensure accurate quarterly and year-end processing • Stay current on evolving payroll-related laws and regulations • Act as a key stakeholder and subject matter expert • Support internal control and compliance efforts • Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in international payroll operations
- 2+ years of experience managing a regional or international payroll team
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and statutory requirements across multiple APAC countries
- Proven experience in leveraging and optimizing payroll software and global platforms
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to perform complex data analysis and financial modeling
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
- Relevant professional certifications would be a significant advantage.

• Lead defined work streams within engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables • Perform detailed analysis, documentation, testing, and validation activities • Develop client-ready deliverables (reports, dashboards, models, presentations) • Identify risks, issues, and process improvement opportunities • Translate technical findings into clear business insights.
• Manage the Ireland Payroll operations team, with direct management of the team (based in the UK). • Have overall responsibility for the allocation and processing of Payrolls for Ireland customers, and for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of Payrolls. • Close monitoring of the productivity of the team will be required. • Be responsible for performance management of the team and be able to drive operational excellence (Quality of the delivery: SLA... and Quality of the interaction: Tickets...) and facilitate upskill and a learning culture. • Ensure Supervisors and Processors are best positioned for Service delivery to Clients with operational issues, including customer reviews, implementation issues and product teams. • Proactively manage Customer relations avoiding any unnecessary escalation to the EMEA Payroll Director and ensuring Service Reviews are held as required. • Interview and hire new team members, and assist with onboarding and training to ensure the team is properly skilled throughout the employee life cycle. • Act as a backup to Supervisors during their absence on payroll processing issues. • Handle all payroll matters and queries from clients on time and be viewed by Clients as a facilitator to support Service Delivery and as a reliable and actionable escalation point. • Co-operate with other departments within CloudPay seeking continuous improvement and strengthening the One CloudPay image for Customers
