• Perform comprehensive analysis of commercial and financial data for acquisition targets. • Prepare and present assessments of the initial suitability of acquisition targets. • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and identify new acquisition opportunities. • Identify software companies that meet our acquisition criteria/metrics and advance opportunities through the transaction cycle. • Support the M&A team with various ad-hoc tasks related to closing ongoing transactions. • Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams on data requests, information sharing, project meetings, and transaction execution.
Job Requirements
- Up to 2 years of experience in Corporate Development and M&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Transaction Advisory/Consulting is required.
- Demonstrated excellent academic performance at a top-tier institution.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field; progress toward or holding a CPA or CFA is a strong plus.
- Maturity and comfort interacting with C-level executives.
- Ability to work independently with strong communication and sales skills.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills with high attention to detail.
