• Serve as the “eyes and ears” of ABB PAEN in your territory/segments • Continuously monitor market dynamics, identify growth opportunities, contraction risks, new entrants, technology shifts, and emerging customer needs • Design and execute strategic client plans for growth; lead executive engagements, pursuit teams, and negotiations to secure major orders • Build deep, long-term client partnerships by providing strategic advice on business drivers and market trends • Develop robust internal and external networks • Tailor communications to diverse stakeholders • Champion ABB’s energy transition agenda • Deliver accurate forecasting and actionable market insights to the UK leadership team • Represent ABB at industry events, conferences, and customer forums

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience successfully leading and managing market and account development initiatives
  • Proven experience in the Automation, Electrical, Telecommunications, or Digital sectors
  • Experience in new energies, such as Offshore Wind, Sustainable Fuels, CCUS, Nuclear SMR, is highly desirable
  • Subject matter expert in market analysis, account management processes, commercial agreements, customer relationship management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-Centric Mindset
  • Relevant education: bachelor's or master's degree in relevant field (Professional experience can compensate for formal education)
  • Highly motivated individual who can plan their time, priorities, and tasks effectively and able to multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify, agree, and implement change
