• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and processes, escalating more complex questions to senior levels as appropriate, and managing the HR team’s shared inbox • Prepare and maintain HR documentation, including change-of-status letters, employment verification letters, termination documents, and other employee records, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance • Support HRIS (UKG) administration by creating employee profiles, updating records, and participating in audits to maintain accurate and organized employee data • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, guide new hires through orientation, ensure documentation is complete, and coordinate access to systems and equipment • Support HR operations and team projects, manage internal resources (e.g., SharePoint, guides, templates), assist with recruitment coordination, and contribute to engagement initiatives and special projects.
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative role, HR coordination, or HR operations support
- Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- A professional HR designation or progress toward obtaining one is considered an asset
- Experience managing HR documentation, employee lifecycle processes, or HRIS
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities effectively while providing timely updates to stakeholders
- Experience working in community-focused, people-centered, or culture-driven environments is an asset
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a criminal background check as a condition of employment.

This role provides both strategic partnership and hands-on support across the full spectrum of People functions, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
