If you have hands-on experience in the Research, Design or Manufacture of Active Medical Devices we'd love to hear from you. As a Technical Reviewer, you will work with medical device manufacturers throughout their certification life cycle to place active medical devices on the European market. This position applies a mix of engineering and design knowledge, newfound regulatory expertise, English writing skills, client and project management. You will assess cutting-edge technology that will make a difference in patient health and safety and broaden your technical knowledge through ongoing training. Responsibilities: - Review and evaluate medical device technical and clinical documentation in your areas of competence to assess compliance with MDD 93/42/EEC, MDR 2017/745 and UK MDR 2012 schemes. - Manage certification activities for a portfolio of medical device manufacturers, including determination of auditing requirements and making recommendations for the issue and maintenance of CE certifications. - Provide specialist regulatory, operational and strategic support to medical device scheme managers, product specialists and the business in the delivery of CE medical device marking schemes. - Provide Medical Device expertise leadership and mentoring in areas of competence to medical devices personnel. Qualifications - Four years' professional experience in the field of healthcare products or related activities, such as in manufacturing, auditing or research, of which two years shall be in the design, manufacture, testing or use of the device or technology to be assessed or related to the scientific aspects to be assessed. - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a discipline relevant to medical device manufacture and use. This may include electronic/electrical, electro-mechanical or biomedical engineering or medical physics. - Thorough knowledge of Medical Device regulation; at minimum an awareness of the requirements of IEC 60601 Third Edition and the risk management standard ISO 14971. - Understanding of the principles of design control and risk management. - Strong interpersonal communication skills. - Ability of prioritizing and executing individual workload. Role Description The Capernaum divisional coordinator will serve, in accordance with the objectives, policies and procedures established by mission leadership, to develop and sustain Capernaum ministries in their respective divisions. Training - Attend divisional staff times and retreats. - Pursue continuing education or training seminars to enhance professional skills. - Participate in programs designed for personal spiritual maturity or enrichment. Education - College degree preferred. Role Description The purpose of this position is to offer support to the daily operations of the Branch Office and Branch Manager(s). This role is eligible for telecommuting. Hours: 9:30-6:00pm This role requires having a designated workspace at home that is free from distractions. - Work with Sales team, referrals and/or patients to gather missing documentation/information to meet insurance guidelines. - Answer phone calls from customers to provide introductory information to new customers, determine the quickest, most effective ways to answer a customer’s questions, troubleshoot common issues with a product or service, work with the branch team and other departments to find appropriate resolutions, and escalate queries and concerns when necessary. - Perform several processing duties for the Branch as necessary including, but not limited to creating and working with intakes, reviewing ACIS screens to assist customers; and confirming delivery appointments, verifying insurance, obtaining authorization of equipment based on payor guidelines, completing tasks in processing tools, monitoring faxes and performing data entry document triage. - Perform post-delivery work order confirmation and data entry. - Perform initial outbound calls, faxes, SMS texting to patients and referrals on receipt of orders. - May conduct downloads of recording devices such as apnea monitors, oximeters, CPAP devices, and other respiratory equipment as directed. - Handle requests for audit/documentation purposes. May assist with document retrieval for billing purposes. - Support overnight oximetry program. - Collect credit card/billing information as needed. - Assist with patient scheduling for delivery and pick up of equipment. - Carry out filing, and faxing records on a routine basis. - In addition to set up or return of equipment, may instruct patients, complete paperwork, explain insurance and out-of-pocket expenses, handle payments. - May perform outbound customer satisfaction calls to patients and referrals. - Order inventory or office supplies. - Performs other duties as required. Qualifications - High school diploma or GED is required. - At least two years related experience in an office environment is preferred.
