QA Engineer – Rate Tester

• Conduct thorough testing of carrier online applications, rates, and benefits • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts • Identify, document, and track defects and issues • Collaborate with developers and product managers • Perform root cause analysis of defects and work with the development team • Ensure all testing activities are completed on time • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies • Utilize regression automation tools to verify benefit data on QA platforms • Follow testing flow for online applications and document control

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as an application tester or in a similar testing role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to validate data
  • Understanding of software testing methodologies
  • Experience with testing content on platforms and automated testing tools
  • Background in Medicare, healthcare, and content data management
  • Willingness to participate in meetings with carriers and stakeholders in offshore time zones
  • Ability to handle daily operational testing work and future automation strategies
  • Familiarity with AI and automation.

Job Title: Sr. Quality Engineer II Department: Manufacturing Reports to: Quality Engineer Manager Job Description: The Sr. Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections and tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Assist Quality Manager in developing colleagues, writing SOPs, and improving operations. Responsibilities: Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards. Conduct regular inspections and testing of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Review and analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Monitor and ensure compliances for in-process setting and requirement. Ensure outgoing product meets the specification requirements ISO ownership. To ensure all documentation in-place. Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement process improvements aimed at enhancing product quality and efficiency. Use quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, test results, and process changes. Prepare and present detailed reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives. Ensure that all quality-related documentation complies with industry regulations and standards. Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor the quality of materials and components provided by suppliers. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement improvements. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure that products and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on changes to regulations and standards affecting quality assurance practices. Prepare and facilitate regulatory audits and inspections as required. Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Support the development and implementation of quality training programs. Assist in the resolution of quality-related issues and provide technical support to teams. Quality Control: Develop and maintain quality control plans and procedures. Oversee the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment. Ensure that quality control measures are effectively integrated into production processes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field; master’s preferred. 8+ experience in quality engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong understanding of SPC, 8D, Root Causes Analysis, quality assurance methodologies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in quality tools and techniques (e.g., root cause analysis, statistical analysis, FMEA). Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: Certification in quality engineering (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer). Experience with advanced quality management systems and tools. Experience in Solar cell quality and reliability is a plus. Knowledge of specific industry standards and regulations relevant to the organization. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is a plus. Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends. Willingness to continuously learn and update skills. Ability to lead project team or cross functional team. Working Conditions: Standard office environment with frequent visits to the manufacturing floor or production areas. May require occasional travel to supplier facilities or other company locations. May involve working with various types of equipment and exposure to production environments.
