Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, system integration and APIs
- Experience in backend development (Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Python or equivalent)
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful and/or SOAP APIs
- Experience integrating enterprise systems, including legacy systems and existing applications
- Experience in consuming and exposing REST and SOAP services
- Strong knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Knowledge of authentication and security mechanisms: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SSL/TLS, SSO (Single Sign-On)

Role Description We are seeking a Mid-Level Java Developer with experience developing and supporting enterprise applications in a legacy Operations & Maintenance (O&M) environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong Java background and experience working with legacy technologies such as ColdFusion and PowerBuilder to support system enhancements, troubleshoot production issues, and assist with modernization efforts while ensuring system stability and operational continuity. - Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications in a legacy Operations & Maintenance (O&M) environment using Java/J2EE technologies. - Support and enhance existing applications built on legacy platforms including ColdFusion and PowerBuilder. - Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to maintain system stability and performance. - Develop and maintain Java web services and system integrations using SOAP and REST APIs. - Write efficient, maintainable, and reliable code while supporting modernization and cloud migration initiatives where applicable. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment with a focus on code quality, testing, and operational support. - Maintain security configurations, ensuring all code complies with security standards. - Participate in release management, deployments, system maintenance activities, and documentation updates.
