• Database design and development • Design, develop and maintain backend services using Java 11+ and Spring Boot • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices architectures • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps teams and product teams to ensure efficient deliveries • Implement database solutions (SQL/NoSQL) and optimize queries for high-volume processing • Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD and security • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architecture design

• Design and architect scalable, highly available database solutions for complex systems • Be responsible for performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning for large data volumes • Lead database reliability strategies, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans • Diagnose and resolve complex production incidents and performance bottlenecks • Implement and enforce database security practices, access control, encryption, and compliance • Collaborate with application, platform, and DevOps teams on system design and releases • Lead migrations, upgrades, and database modernization initiatives • Automate database operations using scripts and infrastructure-as-code practices • Review database designs and provide technical guidance to engineers • Maintain operational documentation, standards, and best practices

• Develop and maintain end-to-end applications, working on both frontend and backend with a focus on quality, performance, and security. • Support the Tech Lead in the technical analysis of requests, contributing to the definition of scope, risks, dependencies, and technical impacts. • Remove technical and access blockers (environment, permissions, integrations, cross-team dependencies). • Handle ad-hoc interactions with internal requesters to clarify technical questions and align expectations when necessary. • Serve as the technical bridge between development, systems/product analysts, and QA to ensure a shared understanding of requirements. • Assist in defining technical solutions together with the Tech Lead, following architectural standards and best practices. • Ensure efficient integration between systems, APIs, and databases. • Apply and promote best practices for code, version control, testing, and security. • Help the team resolve more complex technical problems. • Monitor application performance and contribute to optimizations and continuous improvement. • Ensure delivery quality in collaboration with QA, supporting root-cause analysis and fixes.
