Account Manager

Instacart

• Own a portfolio of Canadian CPG advertisers, serving as the primary point of contact to drive growth, retention, and long-term partnership value. • Plan, launch, and optimize retail media campaigns across Instacart ad products; analyze performance to deliver data-backed recommendations that improve ROAS, incrementality, and category share. • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities, build business cases, and partner with Account Executives on renewals, expansions, and joint business planning. • Lead regular performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews with senior client stakeholders, translating complex data into clear narratives and actionable roadmaps. • Forecast pipeline and revenue, manage pacing and budgets, and ensure operational excellence in collaboration with Ads Operations, Measurement, and Finance. • Advocate for client needs with Product and Engineering by synthesizing feedback and helping pilot new features that improve advertiser outcomes at scale.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in account management or client success within digital advertising, retail media, or e-commerce performance marketing.
  • Proven track record managing a portfolio of advertisers and meeting or exceeding revenue, retention, and performance goals.
  • Hands-on experience running end-to-end campaigns (planning, trafficking coordination, optimization, reporting) and leading QBRs or executive readouts.
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups) and comfort interpreting large data sets to create clear, actionable insights.
  • Effective communicator with experience influencing senior client stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, operations, and analytics teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
