Credit Policy Analyst – Senior
ASAAS
• Develop and review credit policies, ensuring compliance with business rules and regulatory standards; • Specify, implement and monitor internal policies and procedures, ensuring they are kept up to date and compliant with regulations; • Serve as a point of contact between Credit Origination/Underwriting, Monitoring, Collections/Recovery and Product teams, ensuring integration and consistency of policies and processes; • Lead credit-area projects; • Collaborate with the Data team to perform statistical analyses aimed at improving credit policies; • Prepare studies and review data, proposing changes and adjustments to credit indicators and processes; • Analyze the credit portfolio, assessing deterioration risk and interpreting credit bureau and SCR (credit information system) data; • Review and recalibrate models and variables of the credit engine; • Evaluate the effectiveness of credit modeling and the performance of rules; • Monitor and propose risk indicators for credit products, ensuring effective risk management and regulatory compliance; • Present reports and analyses on the performance of credit engines, providing strategic insights for decision-making; • Identify and evaluate new solutions and technologies in credit management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Financial Mathematics, Economics, or related fields;
- Postgraduate degree (e.g., specialization or master's) in Data Analytics, Finance, Credit and Collections, Economics, or related areas;
- Experience in the financial market (fintechs, payments sector, and other financial institutions) with a focus on credit products and credit policies;
- Professional experience with BI tools (Metabase, Power BI, Excel, among others), applying them to create reports and dashboards;
- Experience with credit metrics and KPIs;
- Proficiency in SQL and Python;
- Experience with regulatory requirements related to credit (CMN, Central Bank of Brazil, and audits);
- Knowledge of Statistics.
