Job Description

Finance Manager

Armada

• Act as a trusted finance partner to Engineering, Product, and other business teams • Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close, accruals, and relevant accounting considerations • Partner with broader teams (GTM, RevOps, Strategic Finance) to ensure alignment across company plans • Own financial planning for key functions, with a primary focus on R&D, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning • Partner with Engineering and Product leaders to translate technical roadmaps into financial plans • Develop and track key metrics (e.g., cost efficiency, headcount productivity) • Evaluate new product initiatives, infrastructure investments, and key business opportunities through detailed financial models and business cases • Support prioritization of resources across competing initiatives • Conduct scenario analysis to inform trade-offs between growth, cost, and operational efficiency • Lead budgeting cycles and monthly/quarterly forecast updates for supported functions • Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to improve cost discipline and predictability • Partner with business leaders to track performance against financial targets • Build scalable processes, reporting frameworks, and dashboards to support financial visibility and decision-making • Improve visibility into spend, hiring, and investment performance • Drive automation and tooling enhancements across FP&A systems

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or related roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
  • Experience supporting Engineering, Product, R&D, or other technical/business functions preferred
  • Strong financial modeling skills (scenario modeling, investment analysis, headcount planning)
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a high-growth environment
  • Familiarity with software development cost capitalization and related accounting concepts is a plus
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Pigment, or similar) and data tools
  • Advanced Excel proficiency required
