• Visit customers frequently. Customer travel is at least 50% of your time • Build long term relations with customers: grow your business through trust, service and technical knowledge • Provide the sales & product team with the field intel (customers, competitors, brand owner, etc) • Do the necessary admin: visit reports, opportunity pipeline continuous feeding with info on progress • Winning a larger share of wallet from existing customers by selling value (not just lowering price) • Know your competitor's weakness and acquire new customers • Use business development successes and scale those with applicable customers in your region • Close work with Brand Owner managers, and coordinate Brand Owner needs that the converter has to fulfill • Continuously inform CS of commercial changes with the customer: update price lists, stocks agreements, payment terms, trial projects, invoicing challenges, visit reports • For long term customers: on occasion, bring the CS specialist to further improve relationship (reasonable cost & time, overseas excluded) • Regular check in's with CS for mutual updates and actions forward

Job Requirements

  • At least 4 years’ experience in market development within the industrial sector (preferably in the packaging industry, with paper manufacturers, plastic or paper converters, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and develop the client portfolio
  • Ability to manage client accounts
  • Ability to communicate in English
