Role Description We are looking for a Technical Sales individual to support our Crushing Solutions team. This position will support sales growth, customer value, and product performance across Metso’s Crusher Spares and Crusher Wears portfolios. This position blends technical expertise with customer-facing support to deliver complete crushing solutions aligned with Metso’s We Go Beyond strategy. This position will be located in or around the Sudbury or Prince George area and can work remotely. This position may entail up to 50% domestic travel. What you’ll do: - Sales & Product Strategy - Execute product strategies for spares and wears. - Present value propositions and technical/commercial solutions. - Identify business opportunities and provide market intelligence. - Technical & Application Support - Act as product expert for crusher spares, wears, and related services. - Conduct site inspections, wear measurements, troubleshooting, and optimization. - Support installation, warranty cases, and product performance reviews. - Optimization & Product Improvement - Recommend wear profiles, materials, and part configurations. - Prepare technical reports and CAD-based evaluations. - Collaborate with Product Line on enhancements and best practices. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with Sales, LCS, Product Line, and manufacturing teams. - Support complex technical proposals. - Share benchmarking and continuous improvement insights. - Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong customer relationships. - Review wear performance and optimization plans. - Provide timely technical and commercial responses. Qualifications - Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Business. - 5–10 years experience in mineral processing or crushing. - Strong technical understanding of crusher processes. - Proficiency with MS Office; SAP, CRM, AutoCAD are assets. - Bilingual French/English preferred. • Partner with Leadership to design and model sales incentive plans aligned to business strategy.
