Field Support Manager
AGCO
Role Description The Field Support Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience by providing advanced technical support to dealers and end-users of the PTx product line. This role will collaborate with R&D in assisting with new product launches. This role will also lead dealer training, assist at trade shows, and create PTx publications. This role will coordinate with Customer Support to make field visits when required. - Technical Support & Service: Handle grower and dealer support calls during office and after-hours, respond to online ticket inquiries, and provide on-site service when remote assistance is insufficient. - Product Development & Launch: Communicate field issues and future needs to R&D, actively participate in go-to-market processes, and contribute to successful product launches. - Training & Customer Experience: Lead dealer training sessions, breakout sessions at conferences, and deliver projects focused on improving customer experience, processes, and training effectiveness. - Content Creation & Event Support: Develop technical publications (manuals, bulletins, knowledge base articles), manage trade show booth setup, and maintain equipment for testing, training, and exhibitions. - Field Support & Data Analysis: Assist customers with in-field issues, compile and analyze test plot data for marketing and research, and occasionally present at industry events. This position requires regular travel within Spain and occasionally international. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Systems Technology, Agronomy or 3+ years of industry experience supporting Precision Ag equipment or 5+ years related industry product support experience - Familiarity and experience in agriculture - Strong writing and editing skills. Evidence of “creativity”. - Ability to communicate and present to large groups - Strong problem-solving skills and English Proficiency.
