Job Description
Content Creator – Organic Social
Acorns
• Create social-first content end to end: concept → script → shoot → edit → publish → learn. • Develop, manage, and execute a dynamic content calendar across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms, optimized by channel. • Translate Acorns’ mission, products, and everyday customer moments into relatable, scroll-stopping storytelling. • Build and evolve repeatable content formats (hooks, series, visual language) that scale. • Stay deeply plugged into culture, trends, and platform behavior—and move fast when something’s working. • Experiment relentlessly with tone, pacing, structure, and formats to improve retention, saves, shares, and conversation. • Capture and create a mix of: • UGC-style, in-house content • Educational explainers that don’t feel like ads • Behind-the-scenes moments (team, product, culture) • Trend-driven and reactive formats • CEO led content • Real customer moments • Partner with Marketing, Creative, Product, and Comms to turn strategy into content experiments—not overbuilt campaigns. • Engage directly with our community through comments, replies, stitches, and duets, helping social feel participatory, not broadcast. • Analyze performance and double down on what resonates, prioritizing learning and impact over polish. • Scope and manage creators as needed for social content and partnerships.

- Deep empathy for our customers and a genuine belief in helping people grow their money with confidence.
