Role Description This is a remote position with working hours based on U.S. West Coast (Pacific Time). - Manages supplier quality performance through prevention, monitoring/escalation processes, processing of supplier submission of nonconforming material. - Manages/Supports supplier onboarding and qualification/certification. - Manages source inspection and material release processes. - Performs Escape management procedures, drives root cause analysis & problem solving and recommends corrective and preventive action for systemic supplier process and product materials. - Proactively supports the RTX supplier programs to ensure healthy continuous improvement and sustainability. - Analyzes quality data to identify systemic issues and develops supplier specific quality initiative strategies; addressing them with key proactive quality tools (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, SPC, etc.), as well as driving their implementation. - Ensures that supplier is capable to meet all contract requirements including Resourcing Gate, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance and Work Transfer implementation. - This role involves approximately 50% travel; candidates must be willing and able to meet this requirement.
