Working under the supervision of the Director, Head of RIA Portfolio Management, you will manage client trading sessions, review algorithmic trade proposals, ensure compliance with securities regulations, and monitor trade execution quality. This is an excellent opportunity for a portfolio management professional with 2+ years of experience to join a high-growth initiative at the ground floor, gain exposure to advanced rebalancing and direct indexing technologies, and develop expertise in sub-advisory operations within a regulated fintech environment. As AIM scales from launch with Facet Wealth to managing billions in assets across multiple RIA clients, you will play a key role in building operational excellence and establishing best practices for portfolio management workflows. Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Portfolio Management & Trading Operations (70%) - Execute Daily Trading Workflow: Manage the complete daily trading cycle from pre-market preparation through end-of-day reconciliation - Client Session Processing: Process separate trading sessions for each RIA client, maintaining strict segregation between client books - Configuration Management: Load client-specific investment models, rebalancing configurations, and trading parameters for each session - Technology Operation: Run Apex's proprietary rebalancing and direct indexing technology to generate optimized trade proposals - Trade Proposal Analysis: Review algorithmic trade recommendations for accuracy, logic, and alignment with client strategies - Trade Validation: Verify trade calculations, identify anomalies, and flag unusual proposals for senior review - Trade Submission: Submit approved trades to Apex Basket Trading Application with accurate documentation of timestamps, client IDs, and order details - Session Closure: Close client sessions properly to maintain separation and audit trail integrity - Trade Monitoring & Exception Management (20%) - Fill Monitoring: Continuously monitor trade execution throughout the trading day via Apex Basket Trading Application - Completeness Review: Track fill status for all submitted orders, identifying complete fills, partial fills, and failed orders - Exception Handling: Flag incomplete or problematic orders, investigate root causes, and coordinate with senior staff on remediation - Quality Assessment: Review execution quality including fill rates, price performance, and timing - Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all monitoring activities and exception resolutions - Compliance & Reporting Support (10%) - Compliance Verification: Support compliance checks to ensure adherence to securities regulations, trading rules, and client guidelines - Audit Trail Documentation: Maintain complete records of session activities, trade decisions, and execution details - Reconciliation: Assist with end-of-day reconciliation of trade submissions, fills, and outstanding orders - Daily Reporting: Contribute to generation of daily reports including clients processed, trades executed, exceptions, and compliance items - Recordkeeping: Ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements and internal standards Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. • Own the EMEA number - set the regional plan, run the cadence (weekly forecast, monthly P&L, quarterly review), and close the gap to plan when it opens. • Lead and develop the regional Sales organization across EMEA. Hire the leadership bench, raise the performance bar, and make the difficult people decisions where needed. • Approve enterprise deal structure, pricing exceptions, and non-standard terms within defined thresholds; escalate thoughtfully above threshold. • Partner with Marketing to reallocate regional spend against channel ROI, protect CAC payback, and ensure pipeline coverage by segment and sub-region. • Drive regional fulfillment performance - reduce PDD breach rate, cut cost-to-serve, and protect the customer delivery experience in Antwerp-out, DDP-in-EU, and UK-in routes. • Represent the regional customer in roadmap discussions; translate commercial and operational pain points into prioritized product input. • Coordinate with the Americas and APAC regional leaders to maintain global commercial consistency while retaining the regional autonomy needed to win. • Communicate clearly and often with the executive team - no surprises on the number, the team, or the customer.
