• Lead the configuration and enhancement of core Sales and Service Cloud functionality including leads, opportunities, account/contact management, forecasting, territory management, sales workflows and case management, queues and knowledgebase content. • Work closely with business teams and the AMS-partner to gather requirements, validate proposed solutions, and ensure configurations support business goals and processes. • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) through test planning, coordination, and issue resolution to ensure high-quality releases. • Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce, managing incidents, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring platform performance and availability. • Own and deliver enhancement requests including configuration changes, automation updates (e.g., flows, validation rules), and UI improvements, in collaboration with development teams. • Act as a platform steward, promoting best practices and standardization, scalability, and adherence to enterprise governance standards.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of Salesforce administration experience in enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of Sales and Service Cloud capabilities
- Proven experience supporting both project implementations and production support environments.
- Understanding of integrations and upstream/downstream systems (ERP, marketing automation etc)
- Familiarity with UAT processes and working within a structured release cycle.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across cultures and regions with a customer-service mindset.
- Salesforce Administrator certification required; Advanced Admin and/or Sales or Service Cloud Consultant certification a strong plus.

Role Description The Salesforce Administrator will manage, optimize, and scale our Salesforce environment to support Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. Role Description The Salesforce Administrator (Kindsight Ascend) plays a key role within the Cornell Enterprise Modernization Initiative (CEMI), with primary responsibility for supporting the Donor Engagement and Experience Project (DEEP)—a major, multi‑year initiative to modernize and unify development and engagement technology across Cornell’s Ithaca and Cornell Tech campuses, Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM), and the Lab of Ornithology. The CEMI DEEP Salesforce Administrator supports Kindsight Ascend and its associated data model as part of a large-scale, multicampus transformation that consolidates development and engagement capabilities on a single Salesforce platform. The CEMI DEEP Salesforce Administrator is responsible for end-to-end support and maintenance of Salesforce platform solutions, including Kindsight Ascend, other managed packages, configurations, and custom-built capabilities, to meet the institution’s evolving fundraising and donor engagement goals.
