Senior Accountant
Digital Media Solutions
• Own and support components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting analyses • Reconcile subledger activity to general ledger balances, ensuring accuracy and completeness • Perform detailed variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying drivers and providing clear explanations • Prepare and coordinate financial reporting deliverables for management, segment, and corporate reporting • Post payroll-related journal entries in NetSuite and ensure alignment with payroll reporting and controls • Support general ledger accounting by preparing documentation and audit-ready support for transactions • Maintain and enhance documentation of accounting processes and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies • Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies • Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience in a large public accounting firm or 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in industry
- Hands-on experience preparing account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses
- Experience with payroll accounting processes and related journal entries
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial concepts
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Role Description As an Accountant 1, Accounting, and part of the Accounts Payable Team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end Invoice Processing for the assigned region or entity in a timely and accurate manner that requires close coordination with key stakeholders such as Payments Team, Local Accounting and Finance, Procurement, and other Teams within GFO.
