In this role, you will build and maintain custom tools and solutions to support product and engineering teams across the company by improving quality, reducing pain points, and ensuring our platforms deliver fast, reliable, and trustworthy content to millions of users. While this role is on our Quality Engineering team, this is very much a development-focused role. You’ll be a key player in building services and pipelines using cloud resources, adding observability for other teams (using dashboards, alerting, and more), and scaling our tools as we increase our quality footprint to cover more aspects of our business. Key Responsibilities - Propose, build, and maintain QE tools that are modular and can be used across many projects. - Collaborate with product, editorial, and engineering teams to assess quality strategies and find solutions to embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle. - Integrate automated tools and tests into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployment cycles and minimize production defects. - Ensure test coverage for critical workflows, including content ingestion, publishing, personalization, and user engagement features. - Champion testability and observability, especially in high-traffic, high-availability environments.Mentor teams on automation best practices, helping shift testing left and improve developer ownership of quality. - Analyze test results and production metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. - QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 3+ years of development experienceProficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript, with exposure to other programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, Ruby) - Experience working with containers and building configuration files (e.g. Docker)Experience deploying and maintaining serverless projects (using tools like Google Cloud Run/Functions, AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, etc)Experience working with CI tools and building CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins) - Experience ingesting, storing, organizing, displaying, and analyzing data (with tools like Google Cloud BigQuery, Data Studio, SQL, and Grafana) - Experience architecting or designing multi-step software systems or pipelines (especially using Cloud tools) is a plus - Exposure to and experience with test automation tools is a plus (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, JUnit). - Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. • Assist leading the QA team with the production of a AAA game • Build and execute test plans for features and workflows • Work with outsource QA to execute the testing of features and workflows, with test plans and ad-hoc approaches • Develop reports to update the studio on status of testing • Regularly communicate with content creators, engineers, production, and QA leadership • Create JIRAs to address deficiencies in the quality of the game • Assist in triaging JIRAs (and validating JIRAs created from outsource QA) • Assist QA leadership in defining QA processes • Write and maintain relevant documentation • Attend meetings to inform the QA team for specific pillars of the game

• Lead quality assurance efforts across contact center implementations • Design and execute comprehensive test plans for Amazon Connect contact flows • Test CloudFormation stacks, Lambda integrations, and Amazon Lex bots • Validate omni-channel routing and voice user interfaces • Elicit requirements and define load/performance test scope and execute tests • Develop automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines • Generate and analyze reports using Amazon Connect’s built-in metrics • Collaborate with cross-platform contact center product knowledge • Coordinate SIT & UAT with defect management and business scenario refinement

• Perform detailed, side-by-side reviews of original documents and AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency • Validate that all procedural elements (steps, warnings, notes, references) are preserved without alteration • Ensure reformatted procedures align with industry standards such as HPOG formatting guidelines • Identify and document errors including omissions, inconsistencies, or unintended changes in AI outputs • Assess readability and usability from an end-user (field operator/technician) perspective • Log defects clearly with precise references to streamline corrections • Conduct regression testing following platform updates to maintain quality standards • Review AI-generated compliance flags and recommendations for accuracy and regulatory alignment • Evaluate corporate policies and standards against applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSHA PSM, API, AER, OGC) • Cross-check documents against internal policy libraries to identify conflicts or gaps • Provide structured, actionable feedback for both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve system accuracy and performance • Analyze recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
