Dayforce
Role Description The Business Development Representative 3 (BDR) is a critical role and extension of our Net New sales force. The BDR 3 is responsible for generating Sales qualified leads from scratch, focusing on a specific Net New segment. Key responsibilities include: - Initiating conversations with decision makers that result in scheduled meetings with Dayforce Net New Sales team or attendance at Dayforce sponsored events. - Creating appointments and new opportunities for Dayforce Account Executives via targeted telephone, email, webinar, social media, face-to-face events, and tradeshow initiatives. - Participating in account planning and running coordinated motions with assigned AEs. - Documenting and tracking activity in our CRM system and using marketing automation tools. - Contacting prospects to establish connections that result in appointments. - Some travel may be required for corporate and sales team meetings. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business preferred or equivalent work experience. - Strong prospecting and business needs analysis skills. - Ability to develop and perform against a territory plan. - Excellent communications, presentation, and people skills. - Proven organizational skills and highly self-disciplined. - Computer proficiency with standard office applications. - Excellent time management skills. - Tenacious, driven to succeed attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, team-success oriented. - Highly adaptable and able to manage through change. - Experience using Salesforce.com Lightning. - Ability to perform well in a Virtual Work from Home setting. Requirements - 3-5 years of prospecting experience in a business-to-business environment. - Payroll/HRIS direct selling experience is a strong qualification but not required. - Experience in working with and selling to Senior HR and C-level roles. - Previous phone sales/appointment setting experience is a plus.
