• Lead the end-to-end configuration and implementation of Xactly Incent, including designing compensation plans, setting up quotas, crediting rules, and calculating commission payouts. • Customize Compensation Rules to reflect complex commission structures, such as tiered payouts, accelerators, draws, and recoveries, based on client-specific business requirements. • Configure and manage participant hierarchies, team structures, and territory assignments, ensuring accurate compensation tracking. • Create and maintain calculation formulas, including base pay, bonuses, and multi-variable commissions, using Xactly’s Calculation Engine. • Handle the credit assignment process, including splitting credits between multiple participants or roles and ensuring accurate credit allocation to sales activities. • Configure and manage Plan Documents and Participant Statements, ensuring transparency and clarity in commission reporting. • Perform data loading and integration of various input sources (e.g., CRM data from Salesforce, ERP systems, or manual files) using Xactly's Connect integration tool. • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate the functionality of the system and ensure the accuracy of calculations. • Set up and manage dispute workflows, providing users with mechanisms to contest commissions and ensuring proper audit trails. • Develop and configure Xactly Analytics dashboards and custom reports to provide clients with real-time visibility into performance metrics, incentive payouts, and sales effectiveness. • Build advanced reporting frameworks to track critical metrics, such as quota attainment, sales by product, compensation by territory, and team performance. • Utilize Xactly Analytics' data visualization tools to design and present intuitive charts and graphs that highlight key insights for executives and sales leaders. • Configure custom calculation logic for reporting purposes, including aggregate functions like year-over-year comparisons, trend analysis, and commission forecasting. • Implement role-based security in Xactly Analytics to ensure proper data access controls, enabling different levels of visibility for stakeholders (e.g., sales reps, managers, and executives).

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a software development or systems analyst role
  • Must be comfortable with emerging technologies, learning new software, understanding a data model and an object model, writing SQL queries, and writing design specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3-5 years of experience implementing Xactly Incent and Xactly Analytics.
  • Knowledge of software development & implementation life cycles
  • Experience with major relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Proficient in Xactly Incent configuration, including:
  • Compensation Plan Design: Structuring and configuring incentive compensation plans, defining quotas, crediting rules, and payout methods.
  • Participant Management: Setting up and managing user hierarchies, teams, roles, and permissions.
  • Calculation Engine: Building custom formulas, handling complex calculation rules (e.g., weighted commissions, bonuses).
  • Plan Document Automation: Configuring automated and customizable participant statements and documents.
  • Quota Management: Configuring and managing quota-setting processes.
  • Expertise in Xactly Analytics configuration and reporting:
  • Advanced Data Modeling: Designing and configuring custom reports and dashboards.
  • Complex Report Building: Developing performance dashboards that aggregate sales data and compensation metrics.
  • Knowledge of the following technologies is considered an asset:
  • Microsoft SQL Server, Informatica, Xactly, Varicent
  • Web technologies such as JavaScript, XML, CSS, and HTML
  • BI Cognos reporting
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

Role Description - Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for technical support inquiries regarding our Output Management software suite. - Tiered Support: Provide comprehensive Level 1, 2, and 3 technical support for software solutions running on IBM z/OS (MVS) environments at client sites. - Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex technical and application-level incidents reported by clients. - Patch Development: Investigate and correct incidents within relevant modules (COBOL, JCL, TSO/ISPF, etc.) to develop and deliver effective patches. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal R&D/development teams and product experts, as well as external client operations teams to ensure seamless resolution. - Quality Assurance: Define, develop, and execute non-regression test suites to ensure stability. - Delivery & Implementation: Deploy patches and provide hands-on assistance to clients during their implementation. - Technical Documentation: Author and maintain high-quality technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-base articles. - Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to the refinement and optimization of support processes and workflows. - Modern Platform Support: Provide L1/L2 support for modern software solutions (Windows clients, Windows Servers, or Linux/Kubernetes-based environments). - Services Collaboration: Assist the Services team with document design projects using our next-generation software offerings.
