Essential Functions - Manages staff including hiring, training, development, and engagement of self and team members, evaluating performance, providing compensation recommendations, and performance management. - Provides event and trade show support; develops company image for trade show booths; sets up speaking opportunities; coordinates shipment of booths and selection of other marketing materials; and provides presentation support for speakers. - Collects input from various parts of the business to update brochures and other various materials used for customers and trade shows to reflect current offerings; solicits input on the effectiveness of material and their needs; works with vendors to develop, produce, and procure materials; maintains inventory. - Creates and manages social media content, ensuring consistent image, theme, and monitoring activity. - Markets services by scheduling email communication and technical education webinars, develops a communication plan. - Creates content for industry publications, e-newsletters for internal and/or external use, and direct mail. - Organizes and leads marketing meetings with the leadership team, develops and monitors regional/divisional marketing budget, develops the region's/facility's marketing plan. - Manages and maintains website content and pages; works with vendors to create site and media. - Oversees and maintains the inventory software and supply ordering process for the online store website. - Manages the group or area budget including allocating resources and approving expenditures under control. - Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team. - Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
