The Impact you will have in this role: Being a member of the Technology Research & Innovation team, the Technical Project Manager will lead operational readiness assessments and governance reviews for complex technology initiatives supporting the Web3 platform and related application ecosystem, ensuring that applications, infrastructure changes, and platform capabilities are sufficiently prepared, compliant, and operationally ready for production enablement. In this role, you will partner across engineering, product, operations, architecture, risk, compliance, and control teams to drive structured readiness reviews, identify gaps, collect and validate required evidence and artifacts, and provide clear visibility into risks, dependencies, and overall readiness status. You will also be expected to bring strong technical curiosity, sound judgment, and a proactive, hands-on approach to learning the environment, engaging stakeholders, and driving issues through resolution in a fast-paced, highly regulated setting. Your Primary Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end delivery of operational readiness assessments for complex applications, platforms, and infrastructure changes, ensuring all required reviews are completed prior to production enablement - Translate strategic and technical initiatives into structured readiness workplans, identifying critical checkpoints, required artifacts, decision points, and stakeholder dependencies - Partner closely with application owners, engineering teams, operations, architecture, risk, compliance, and control functions to assess whether solutions are sufficiently prepared, governed, and documented for implementation - Evaluate current-state readiness across technology, process, support, controls, and operating model considerations; identify gaps and drive remediation back into design, development, or implementation plans when needed - Serve as the primary point of accountability for readiness-related risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting, proactively escalating blockers and driving timely resolution - Lead cross-functional governance reviews, ensuring that all participating teams understand expectations, deliver required evidence, and complete their responsibilities within agreed timelines - Collect, organize, and validate supporting documentation and operational artifacts needed to demonstrate readiness, compliance, and control alignment - Prepare and deliver executive-level communications, including readiness summaries, governance updates, risk narratives, dependency views, and decision materials for leadership forums - Apply strong project and program management discipline to maintain consistent governance, milestone tracking, RAID management, and stakeholder alignment across concurrent workstreams - Act as an engaged, curious, and hands-on leader who continuously learns the technical landscape, asks the right questions, and drives clarity in ambiguous or evolving environments - Support change adoption by ensuring that program outcomes are operationally embedded and that ownership, support models, and execution expectations are clearly defined before go-live - Partner with portfolio and delivery leaders to balance execution rigor, capacity constraints, and shifting business priorities across the broader change portfolio - Mitigate risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. Qualifications: - Minimum 10 years of related experience in technical project management, program management, operational readiness, implementation governance, or technology delivery - Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience - Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in regulated environments - Experience leading operational readiness reviews, implementation assessments, governance checkpoints, or production enablement activities - Strong understanding of how to evaluate whether an application, platform, or technology change is operationally ready for release - Ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders and drive accountability across multiple teams - Experience working in financial services, banking, or similarly regulated industries preferred; healthcare or insurance experience may also be relevant - Exposure to infrastructure, enterprise applications, distributed platforms, or emerging technology environments is a plus, but deep Web3 expertise is not required Talents Needed for Success: - Strong technical project management capabilities, with the ability to understand application and infrastructure change at a level sufficient to assess readiness and ask informed questions - Demonstrated strength in governance, compliance alignment, risk identification, and operational review processes - Proven ability to gather and manage documentation, evidence, controls, and artifacts required for readiness and implementation reviews - Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to build clear narratives, summarize complex risks, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders - Advanced PowerPoint skills, including slide design, data visualization, and executive storytelling - Strong Excel proficiency, including formulas, PivotTables, tracking logs, and data analysis - Experience with program / portfolio management tooling (e.g., Jira, Planview) and disciplined use of delivery artifacts such as RAID logs, dependency maps, milestone plans, and readiness trackers - Ability to influence without authority and work effectively across engineering, operations, governance, and control partners - High degree of ownership, curiosity, and agency; someone who is not only organized, but also willing to engage deeply, learn quickly, and drive issues to closure - Strong judgment, adaptability, and comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments - Ability to connect strategic objectives with practical execution requirements and operational outcomes The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
