Role Description As a Crisis Counselor, you will be a telephonic first responder, delivering compassionate emotional support, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and stabilization services. You will engage with callers experiencing a broad range of emotional, behavioral, and situational challenges. This role requires emotional resilience, exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to multitask while maintaining clarity and professionalism. While many calls involve acute needs, not all calls are crisis calls; some are administrative or supportive in nature. Role Description At Sunrise, our National Senior Resource Counselor (NSRC) is responsible for increasing initial in-person presentations (IPP) and move-ins within their portfolio of communities from leads referred by referral agencies and assigned lead sources. - Respond to leads from multiple channels (phone, email, and website) - Enter leads into the Sunrise customer relationship management (CRM) application - Review all Sunrise options with the referral agency representative - Contact the lead immediately and set up the tours - Position Sunrise Senior Living as a preferred provider - Implement sales strategies - Achieve department KPIs - Maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state/province or other regulating authorities as applicable to this role to ensure that Sunrise standards are always met. - Perform other duties as assigned.
