• The Associate Director of Strategic Accounts plays a critical role in advancing enterprise objectives by deepening engagement with priority clinics, IDNs, and academic centers across the Great Lakes territory (MI, OH, IN, PA). • This individual drives strategic planning, cross-functional alignment, and execution excellence to accelerate adoption of key resources, optimize customer experience, and deliver measurable business impact. • The ADSA will coordinate pull-through efforts of the strategic account plans, partnering closely with Sobi cross-functional colleagues (i.e RBD, CAM, Medical, Market Access, Compliance, etc). • They will lead dynamic, insight-driven account planning aligned with evolving customer needs and enterprise strategy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (science, medical, business) or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of field sales experience
- 3+ years handling complex institutional accounts (GPOs, IDNs, academic centers) within rare disease, specialty pharma, biotech, or medical devices
- Strong knowledge of GPO influence in key accounts
- Successful track record adding medical benefit products to hospital formularies
- Exceptional account and stakeholder management, including C- and D-suite relationships
- Proven expertise in biologic/oncolytic distribution and acquisition across clinics, academic centers, IDNs, engaging pharmacy and purchasing stakeholders
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills to coordinate internal/external stakeholders
- Demonstrated clinical acumen with complex diseases
- Managerial courage and organizational agility
- Ability to travel up to 60% across a large territory (MI, OH, IN, PA)

About the team The Legal and Licensing team at Airwallex is a collaborative group of legal minds and licensing experts. We provide expert guidance and support to all areas of the business, proactively identifying, mitigating, and managing legal and financial risks. What you'll do As an (Associate) Director, Product Legal, Financial & Strategic Partnerships, you will lead the legal strategy and execution for Airwallex's global network of banking and strategic partners, with a primary base in Singapore. You will partner closely with our Financial Partnerships, Strategic Partnerships, Product and Risk teams to structure, negotiate and scale complex deals that underpin our issuing, payments, embedded finance, yield and new product initiatives. You will build and manage a high-performing legal team, design processes and playbooks that enable fast, repeatable contracting, and help embed AI into our workflows to increase quality and velocity. This role is ideal for a senior product / partnerships lawyer who is comfortable operating at pace in a high-growth fintech, balancing commercial outcomes with rigorous risk management. This role is based in Singapore. Responsibilities: - Lead and execute complex negotiations with banking partners, payment schemes and other financial institutions, using centralized playbooks, escalation matrices and AI-enabled workflows to manage legal and commercial risk. - Lead legal support for strategic partnerships with global technology, ecosystem and platform partners, ensuring fund flows, data flows and user journeys are robust, scalable and compliant across multiple jurisdictions. - Manage, mentor and develop a team of legal counsel focused on financial and strategic partnerships, setting clear priorities, coaching for growth and aligning the team to company and LRC OKRs. - Design, implement and continuously improve processes, templates and playbooks for contracting with banking and strategic partners, including intake, risk review, escalation, execution, storage and implementation handoffs to product domain owners and user terms owners. - Champion the use of AI tools in Product Legal, including AI-assisted contract review, legal risk reviews and PRD analysis, to drive scalable, repeatable workflows and measurable improvements in speed and quality. - Partner with Product, Financial Partnerships, Strategic Partnerships, Regulatory Legal, Risk and Commercial teams on new product launches, new regions and complex deal structures, ensuring alignment with Airwallex's licensing, risk appetite and AI-native strategy. - Establish and maintain high standards for documentation hygiene, including centralized deal trackers, legal risk registers and contract repositories integrated with AI tooling, so the business can self-serve and re-use prior work effectively. - Act as a senior advisor to executives and deal owners on risk-weighted options, escalation decisions and trade-offs in high-value or strategically significant partnerships, including stablecoin and other next-generation infrastructure initiatives. Who you are We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory. • Act as the primary animation workflow authority for the solution pod; build trusted relationships with Animation Supervisors, Heads of Department, Production, and Studio stakeholders. • Run working sessions with show-side and studio leaders to understand current-state pipelines, handoffs, and failure points across the animation lifecycle (e.g., story → layout → animation → CFX → lighting → final). • Explore future workflows and pipelines to elevate the team, then map out a plan to achieve the vision (including multi-show scalability and pipeline compatibility). • Translate animation workflows into clear, testable requirements that engineering and UX teams can execute against. • Ensure prototypes are tested early with real users across key departments; incorporate feedback rapidly and pragmatically.
