• Work within an agile environment to design, document, and support Customer Data Hub capabilities that enable multiple application teams, customer communications, and analytics/reporting consumers. • Partner with product and business partners (including Business Relationship Management Consultants and data stewards) to understand customer data needs and translate them into clear, comprehensive user stories. • Lead the creation and refinement of user stories, ensuring they are complete, prioritized, and traceable, with dependencies and impacts understood across upstream source systems and downstream consumers. • Define robust acceptance criteria that cover functional behavior, data accuracy and data quality, transformation expectations, integration/error handling scenarios, and non-functional requirements. • Perform customer data mapping and lineage analysis, identifying sources, documenting attributes and definitions, and tracing how customer data moves from source applications into the hub and out to downstream consumers. • Analyze and define customer data mastering and transformation logic (standardization, validation, enrichment, and reconciliation) so downstream systems receive accurate, complete, and well-structured data. • Support platform modernization and data enablement initiatives, including adopting cloud-based data platforms, improving data pipelines, and enabling scalable analytics consumption. • Validate integrations and data outcomes by reconciling source vs. hub vs. downstream results, verifying match/merge behavior where applicable, and ensuring fixes are regression-tested. • Collaborate with engineers and architects on hub configuration and solution design, integration patterns, SQL reviews, and debugging during development and production support cycles. • Partner with QA teams to validate solution quality using the acceptance criteria you authored. • Support stable operations for the Customer Data Hub through incident triage, root cause analysis, impact assessment, and clear communications; create and maintain runbooks, data dictionaries, and interface documentation to enable repeatable support and reduce repeat issues. • Continuously learn and improve, adapting to new tools and platforms while helping evolve shared standards for customer data definitions, quality, and integrations. • Apply data governance and privacy/security practices when documenting, analyzing, and troubleshooting sensitive customer data, partnering with data stewards and control teams as needed.

Role Description Note: This is a remote position with travel (25-50%) to support projects in the T3 (Mid-Atlantic) territory, primarily focused on T3 South, which includes the states of WV & VA. The Sr Staff Engineer will be responsible for the public safety design and implementation of solutions for Motorola’s ASTRO 25 and adjacent technologies for State and Local government agencies. We are looking for Engineers who are energized by delivering solutions that truly make a difference. The Sr Staff Engineer will work with a field team of Project Managers, Systems Engineers, System Technologists, Construction Managers, and Customer Service Managers, and will be responsible for leading technical aspects of the assigned project until system acceptance. Duties will include, but are not limited to: - Design and implementation of the radio network including infrastructure, subscribers, mobile backhaul and WAN and CEN (Customer Enterprise) networks. - High level of customer and consultant interaction involving customer design reviews, customer witnessed staging and acceptance testing events, coverage acceptance testing, live system upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts. - System buildout, configuration and acceptance testing in both lab staging and field environments. - Radio coverage testing, frequency analysis and interference mitigation. - Radio system licensing (FCC/Industry Canada). - Preparation of system fleetmap, encryption schema, and radio programming templates. - Live system cutovers and upgrades. - Complete system documentation. Qualifications - Radio Frequency Engineering principles. - Land / Mobile Radio Engineering principles. - Wireless & Wireline communications systems. - RFDS principles to include antenna and cable selection, transmit combiners, receive multi-couplers, and lightning protection systems. - P25 Land Mobile Radio terminology and two-way subscriber radio provisioning methods. - Experience with Motorola ASTRO 25 architecture is a plus. - Construction of remote communication sites to include: site selection, grounding, compound development, tower and shelter requirements. - Fortinet and Juniper firewalls, Nokia 7705 series routers, Juniper SRX/MX (Junos) series routers, HP/Aruba and Juniper switches. - Remote access using SSH, SCP, SFTP, RDP. - Knowledge with point-to-point Microwave systems, Microwave RF & Network design. - FCC licensing and frequency search. - Software applications integration, Application Protocol Interfaces (API) concepts, computer operating systems, and the OSI model. - Networking protocols and devices including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, SIP, RTP, SNMP, NAT, routers, switches, and stateful packet firewalls. - Knowledge of physical layer technologies, such as fiber, copper, and microwave connectivity. Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline and 3+ years of engineering or technical experience OR 4-7 years of engineering or technical experience. - Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
