IT Project Coordinator

• Own IT projects from initiation through completion, managing scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication independently • Document project requirements, technical specifications, and process workflows clearly and thoroughly • Coordinate with internal teams including Security, IT Support, and IT Architects to ensure smooth project transitions and handoffs • Test and validate deliverables prior to handoff to ensure quality and completeness • Maintain project documentation and status updates using Asana, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft 365 • Leverage Microsoft Purview to support data governance and compliance requirements within projects • Communicate proactively with stakeholders at all levels to keep projects on track and aligned with business needs

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field (no prior professional experience required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Highly organized with a natural ability to manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously
  • Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn across a broad range of IT disciplines
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while staying closely connected to a collaborative team
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Asana, Purview or Azure DevOps is a plus — but not required
  • Certifications such as CompTIA ITF+ or Microsoft Certifications are a strong plus
