Role Description We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 2 to 5 or more years of litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense, to join our growing litigation team. This position is best suited for a mid-level attorney who can step into an active caseload, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of assignments while continuing to sharpen trial skills through collaboration and mentorship from seasoned litigators. From day one, associates are treated as true members of the litigation team. Role Description We are looking for a full-time Associate Attorney to join our firm's practice in Texas. The ideal candidate is one who has experience drafting legal documents such as pleadings and legal memoranda, has strong organizational skills, and is willing to take on a heavy workload. This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters. Because our firm’s headquarters are in New York, this position entails communicating with our main office exclusively via telephone and electronic means (e-mail, Microsoft Teams, etc.). Candidates should be currently located in the surrounding San Antonio, Texas area to be considered for this role. • Assist with contract ingestion into the CLM, including tagging and metadata validation. • Support the organization and clean-up of contract data within Pramata. • Help map existing contracting workflows and processes into the CLM. • Identify gaps between the desired future-state and current system configuration. • Assist with organizing and maintaining contract templates and clause libraries. • Help prepare internal user guides, FAQs, and quick reference materials. • Coordinate and document feedback from legal team users during early adoption. • Support education of internal stakeholders on CLM use and best practices relevant to their departments. • With additional time: o Inventory and document current legal AI tools in use (e.g., Harvey, Copilot, Claude, CLM AI features). o Conduct interviews or working sessions with legal team members to document current use cases, pain points, and gaps. o Evaluate strengths, limitations, and ideal use cases for each tool (e.g., drafting, summarization, research, playbooks).
