Regional Payroll Manager

Role Description The Regional Payroll Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing end-to-end payroll operations, partnerships, implementations and product readiness for their assigned region, ensuring consistent, compliance and scalable payroll delivery. This role partners closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver a high-quality regional payroll experience aligned with Globalli’s standards. Key Responsibilities - Regional Payroll Operations and Product Development: - Own regional payroll execution across assigned countries, including payroll runs, implementations and ongoing operational readiness. - Serve as the regional subject matter expert for payroll processes, country requirements, and partner capabilities. - Become a power user of the Globalli platform to deliver effective training and provide expert guidance to internal teams and regional stakeholders. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Product, and Engineering to enhance regional payroll operations, document and test proposed enhancements, and educate internal teams. - Conduct platform testing, communicate product requirements, document results, and partner with internal teams to ensure the platform functions as expected. - Troubleshoot regional payroll and integration issues and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reach timely resolutions across multiple employment and delivery models. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including setup guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Regional Payroll Compliance, Partnerships and Country Readiness: - Regional payroll ownership: Oversee Globalli’s ability to process payroll within the assigned region, aligning operational capacity with business demand. - Global payroll processing: Implement and execute payrolls for assigned region, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Issue resolution: Investigate and resolve compliance‑related payroll discrepancies and escalations. - Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate, audit‑ready documentation of payroll processes, controls, and compliance reports. - Regulatory monitoring: Track and interpret payroll legislation and regulatory changes, document impacts, and communicate updates to internal teams. - Vendor partnerships: Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with last‑mile payroll vendors, including onboarding, performance management, and ongoing operational alignment, to ensure reliable local execution. - Implementation oversight: Coordinate and oversee new country and client payroll implementations within the region, ensuring smooth product setup and scalable operational processes. - Year‑end accountability: Ensure timely and accurate submission of employee year‑end tax documents (e.g., W‑2s, 1099s, T4s, P60s). Qualifications - 5+ years of proven payroll experience managing multi-country or regional payroll operations in a high-growth or startup environment. - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data clearly across formats. - Hands-on experience owning payroll delivery, vendor relationships and escalations across multiple employment and payroll delivery structures. - Experience with Managed Payroll Services and working across multiple time zones. - Comfortable working remotely and independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment. - Multilingual capabilities (English required; additional languages a plus). - Client-Centric Approach: Experience supporting high-touch enterprise accounts and managing escalations with professionalism. - Problem-Solving Skills: Skilled in analyzing pay slips, reconciling payroll data, and resolving complex issues. - Adaptability: Thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly to shifting priorities and jurisdictions. - Analytical Mindset: Strong research and documentation skills with a focus on workflow optimization and process improvement.

Primary Responsibilities: - Perform thorough telephonic nursing assessment and clinical review to determine appropriate triage protocol to utilize for nurse care advice. - Ensure members are directed to the most appropriate level of care at contracted facilities. - Assess, plan and implement care strategies that are individualized by patient and directed toward the most appropriate, least restrictive level of care. - Utilize both company and community based resources to establish a safe and effective case management plan for hospitalized members. - Collaborate with member, family and health care providers to develop an individualized plan of care that encompasses both acute care episode and post hospital discharge plan. - Communicate with all stakeholders the required health related information to ensure quality coordinated care and services are provided expeditiously to all members. - Advocate for members and families as needed to ensure the member’s needs and choices are fully represented and supported by the health care team. - Utilize approved clinical criteria (MCG) to assess and determine appropriate level of care for members. - Understand insurance products, benefits, coverage limitations, insurance and governmental regulations as it applies to the health plan. This department is open 24/7. Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule 11:00 am – 9:30 pm 4 days per week. This department works a rotation of weekends and holidays.
