Role Description The Regional Payroll Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing end-to-end payroll operations, partnerships, implementations and product readiness for their assigned region, ensuring consistent, compliance and scalable payroll delivery. This role partners closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver a high-quality regional payroll experience aligned with Globalli’s standards. Key Responsibilities - Regional Payroll Operations and Product Development: - Own regional payroll execution across assigned countries, including payroll runs, implementations and ongoing operational readiness. - Serve as the regional subject matter expert for payroll processes, country requirements, and partner capabilities. - Become a power user of the Globalli platform to deliver effective training and provide expert guidance to internal teams and regional stakeholders. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Product, and Engineering to enhance regional payroll operations, document and test proposed enhancements, and educate internal teams. - Conduct platform testing, communicate product requirements, document results, and partner with internal teams to ensure the platform functions as expected. - Troubleshoot regional payroll and integration issues and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reach timely resolutions across multiple employment and delivery models. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including setup guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Regional Payroll Compliance, Partnerships and Country Readiness: - Regional payroll ownership: Oversee Globalli’s ability to process payroll within the assigned region, aligning operational capacity with business demand. - Global payroll processing: Implement and execute payrolls for assigned region, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Issue resolution: Investigate and resolve compliance‑related payroll discrepancies and escalations. - Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate, audit‑ready documentation of payroll processes, controls, and compliance reports. - Regulatory monitoring: Track and interpret payroll legislation and regulatory changes, document impacts, and communicate updates to internal teams. - Vendor partnerships: Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with last‑mile payroll vendors, including onboarding, performance management, and ongoing operational alignment, to ensure reliable local execution. - Implementation oversight: Coordinate and oversee new country and client payroll implementations within the region, ensuring smooth product setup and scalable operational processes. - Year‑end accountability: Ensure timely and accurate submission of employee year‑end tax documents (e.g., W‑2s, 1099s, T4s, P60s). Qualifications - 5+ years of proven payroll experience managing multi-country or regional payroll operations in a high-growth or startup environment. - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data clearly across formats. - Hands-on experience owning payroll delivery, vendor relationships and escalations across multiple employment and payroll delivery structures. - Experience with Managed Payroll Services and working across multiple time zones. - Comfortable working remotely and independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment. - Multilingual capabilities (English required; additional languages a plus). - Client-Centric Approach: Experience supporting high-touch enterprise accounts and managing escalations with professionalism. - Problem-Solving Skills: Skilled in analyzing pay slips, reconciling payroll data, and resolving complex issues. - Adaptability: Thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly to shifting priorities and jurisdictions. - Analytical Mindset: Strong research and documentation skills with a focus on workflow optimization and process improvement.
Role Description We’re looking for a highly skilled AI Engineer to help us design, build, and scale intelligent systems across our next-generation global HR Tech platform. As an early-stage startup, we’re looking for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, is passionate about automation and AI-driven innovation, and brings hands-on experience developing AI/ML solutions within enterprise-grade SaaS platforms. Role Description We are seeking a seasoned recruiter to join Globalli and support the hiring of both technical roles (engineering, SRE, data) and professional HR/workforce management roles (payroll specialists, implementation managers, payroll success). The ideal candidate will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, including: - Sourcing - Screening - Interview coordination - Onboarding handovers Additionally, the candidate will build strong pipelines and proactively manage candidate experience. Fluency in English is required, and Spanish or other major languages are highly desirable, particularly for sourcing candidates across EMEA and LATAM markets. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and managing an ATS, ideally Greenhouse, is essential for success in this role. This is a remote-first role, with preferred locations including India, South Africa, Mexico, or other cost-effective regions in Europe. Candidates must be able to work hours that overlap 4-8 hours daily with NYC (EST/EDT) to coordinate effectively with the People team and hiring managers. Role Description The Accounting Operations Specialist at Globalli will support day-to-day accounting operations including receivables and payables, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and month-end reporting across our global operations. Reporting initially to the Head of Finance, this role plays a key part in ensuring accurate bookkeeping and timely processing of transactions and payments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity, multi-currency environment. The role requires overlap with the US Eastern Time zone and an appreciation for the demands of a global startup. What You’ll Do - Core Accounting Operations - Support day-to-day bookkeeping, including posting revenue and expenses, payroll entries, and month-end accruals. - Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. - Prepare and reconcile intercompany journal entries. - Assist with all month-end close activities, including inter-company adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations, leading to financial statement preparation. - Assist with reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including monthly and budget variance reports. - Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable - Support invoicing and accounts receivable management, including monitoring collections and following up on outstanding items. - Manage accounts payable: review vendor invoices, verify approvals, resolve issues and prepare payments in accordance with policy. - Assist with onboarding of new vendors, ensuring proper documentation is collected. - Treasury Operations - Support visibility into the company’s treasury and cash movements, helping to ensure timely movement of funds across global bank accounts to meet operational needs. - Coordinate closely with Payroll Operations and HR to support internal and external payroll disbursements. - Support the opening of new bank accounts in various jurisdictions, collaborating with Legal and Compliance for required documentation. - Compliance, Ad Hoc Projects & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Assist with sales tax, VAT, and other regulatory reporting, filings, and payments across several assigned jurisdictions. - Support audits and financial reviews as needed. - Support special projects tied to evolving business needs and strategic priorities. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; progress toward CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent qualification is a plus. - 5 or more years of accounting experience; exposure to a multi-entity or multi-currency environment is highly desirable. - Good understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting standards. - Hands-on experience with month-end close, consolidations, and reconciliations. - Advanced Excel skills; experience with modern accounting systems preferred. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills and comfort partnering across teams and time zones.
