Role Description Our client, a healthcare AI startup, is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join its growing team. In this role, you'll help build and scale a modern healthcare marketplace designed to make accessing care simple and intuitive. You'll play a key role in creating a seamless, high-quality consumer experience across the web, owning core areas of a Next.js application—from search and scheduling to provider profiles and checkout—while maintaining a strong focus on UI/UX and patient experience. - Build and scale core frontend features across a consumer healthcare platform - Own major surfaces of a Next.js application, including search, booking, and checkout flows - Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver polished, user-centric experiences - Focus on performance, usability, and clean, maintainable code Qualifications - 3+ years of experience as a frontend engineer, ideally in fast-paced or startup environments - Strong track record operating in ambiguous, high-growth settings - Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, with a strong eye for UI/UX detail - Experience with Next.js and familiarity with REST APIs, Ruby on Rails, and Postgres preferred - Technical degree (ideally Computer Science) - Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and decisions - Entrepreneurial mindset—someone who thinks beyond code and understands product, users, and go-to-market - Passion for the mission and excitement about improving access to healthcare (prior healthcare experience not required) Requirements - Visa Sponsorship is unavailable now and will not be available in the future

This is not a typical SaaS CRUD app. Clairvo is a real-time telephony system: - We dial real humans over PSTN - Bridge calls through LiveKit - Run ML on live audio (transcription, scoring, copilots) You will be working on systems where calls are happening live and failure is not theoretical. The work is telephony + distributed state. You will spend your time in: - A Rust workspace (Axum, Tokio, SQLx) - Event-driven systems (Redis streams) - Postgres (Aurora) - Twilio SIP trunking, VoIP, LiveKit room lifecycle - A custom power-dialer kernel (parallel and sequential state machines) - ML integrations (OpenAI, Bedrock, SageMaker, AssemblyAI) Agents are on the phone while we ship.
