Role Description Vaniam Group’s Scientific Communications team creates the evidence-based content that underpins everything we do — from medical education programs to publication planning and scientific strategy. As our Scientific Communications Intern, you’ll use AI to organize, summarize, and structure existing approved content so it can be found and reused efficiently across delivery teams. You’ll also build AI-powered tools and agents that automate repeated tasks, collaborate with content coordinators to generate key takeaways from approved materials, and help pressure test Vaniam Group’s innovative offerings. This role is ideal for someone with a scientific background who’s excited about applying technology to make rigorous content more accessible and impactful — and who wants to develop hands-on AI skills in the context of scientific communications and medical communication. What You’ll Work On - Audit and catalog existing approved scientific and client content across multiple therapeutic areas and program types - Use AI tools — primarily Claude and Copilot, along with additional tools as the team identifies needs — to generate structured summaries, key-message extracts, and content outlines from approved materials - Design and build an organized, searchable content library with consistent tagging, categorization, and reuse guidance - Develop content reuse guidelines that help delivery teams quickly identify relevant existing materials before creating new content - Test the content library with Scientific Communications and delivery team members, gather feedback, and refine the structure and search experience - Present the completed library, content summaries, and a sustainability plan to leadership - Work with content coordinators to develop AI-generated key takeaways derived from approved materials, clean transcripts, and other content assets - Develop Copilot agents or Claude skills to automate repeated tasks that will be distributed to the Scientific Communications team - Assist in pressure testing Vaniam Group’s innovative offerings such as EXPLORE, SPHERE, HORIZON, and other platforms What You’ll Learn - How scientific communications and medical writing function within a medical communications agency — including publication planning, medical education, and advisory boards - Content management and information architecture principles applied to scientific and regulatory content - How to use AI responsibly for summarization and content structuring in a highly regulated, accuracy-critical environment - The medical-legal-regulatory (MLR) review process and why content accuracy and traceability matter in healthcare communications - How to collaborate across scientific, strategic, and operational teams in a fully remote organization - How to develop practical AI skills — including building agents and automation workflows — within the context of scientific communications and medical communication work Qualifications - Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Biomedical Communications, Library Science, or a related field Requirements - Strong scientific literacy and comfort reading and summarizing clinical or medical content - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly when working with large volumes of content - Clear, precise writing skills suited for professional and scientific audiences - Availability to work 20 hours per week for 10–12 weeks (June through August 2026) The Team You’ll Work Closest With You will work closely with the Scientific Communications team and collaborate with account teams across Vaniam Group's agency network. Role Description The Epic Communications Lead will drive strategic and operational communications for an Epic electronic health record (EHR) deployment, focused on ambulatory and behavioral health services. This role ensures clear, timely, and effective communication across clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to support adoption, readiness, and sustained engagement throughout the implementation lifecycle.
