Licensed Therapist – LPC, LCSW

• Provide counseling to members on a weekly basis through text-based chat, video calls, and phone calls, to monitor their progress on their recovery journey • Onboard the users with an initial phone call and complete a multidimensional assessment to gather relevant behavioral health history and symptoms • Work within Atlas, Pelago's AI-native EHR, which automates session documentation, surfaces real-time evidence-based guidance during calls, and prepares clinical context before each session — so your time stays focused on member care, not administrative lift • Monitor the progress of members and offer therapeutic strategies on how to deal with temptations and cravings • Be supportive and encouraging to members to help them establish and sustain motivation to change their substance use • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive experience for all members and provide valuable feedback to the product development team • Uphold good standing with your active license(s)/certification(s) • Attend team meetings and/or case discussions as scheduled • Help someone transform their life and the life of their family through their addiction recovery!
Job Requirements
- Active, unrestricted LPC or LCSW license in good standing in New Jersey, Washington State, or Florida
- Bachelors Degree required
- 2+ years of clinical experience delivering CBT and/or behavioral support for substance use disorders (tobacco, alcohol, opioids)
- Comfort working in an AI-augmented care environment; openness to adopting AI-assisted tools that support documentation, member communication, and clinical decision-making
- Proficient with Motivational Interviewing (MI), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), MAT coordination, and Relapse Prevention
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary healthcare teams (coaches, physicians, nurses)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable in fast-moving environments; able to prioritize competing demands
- Technologically fluent; quick to learn new tools and platforms
- Preferred: Prior telehealth experience across multiple time zones and/or digital health settings
