• Sources candidates for high volume position openings using applicant tracking database and job board key word searches, cold-calling prospective applicants, and referral sources • Develops and maintains a pipeline of candidates for assigned positions • Teams with hiring managers to determine plans to identify candidates including applicant tracking database searches, job board key word searches & phone/web mining • Plans and attends job fairs to develop a candidate pool for assigned positions as needed • Screens applicants and coordinates with hiring managers to schedule interviews • Documents and communicates employment recommendations to hiring managers • Posts jobs for recruitment as needed • Files and maintains employment records for future reference • Generates recruitment status reports (e.g., applicant flow, open requisitions, time to fill) • Participates in training to learn new recruitment practices and develops subject matter expertise in recruitment (e.g., sourcing, compliance, applicant tracking systems, reporting) • Provides cross-functional support within the recruitment team as needed (e.g., employee referral program, relocation) • Ensures compliance with government agency regulations (e.g., OFCCP, ADA)

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of recruiting or related experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Knowledge of recruitment and employment practices
  • Skills and ability to assess candidates effectively via telephone or face-to-face

Main Responsibilities Strategic Project Management & Execution: - Proactively analyze the business innovation roadmap and collaborate with internal partners (e.g., R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain) to identify projects requiring strategic input from suppliers and sourcing leads. - Represent Procurement in critical project meetings, providing strategic insights, challenging assumptions, and ensuring procurement requirements are integrated from the outset. - Effectively communicate action points, key decisions, and critical information from innovation meetings, ensuring the broader procurement community is well-informed on project progress and specific needs. - Facilitate the timely sharing of required information and details to sourcing leads and category managers to enable proactive supplier engagement. - Drive initiatives to ensure faster speed to market for new innovations, optimizing costs while establishing robust Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to mitigate supply risks. - Provide timely and accurate updates, status reports, and critical escalations to the entire project team and procurement leadership as needed. - Champion continuous process improvements and establish a robust "innovation ways of working" within procurement to streamline engagement and enhance efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence: - Build strong, collaborative relationships with R&D, Business Development, PCM, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders to embed procurement early in the innovation process. - Act as a trusted advisor, bringing supplier market intelligence and sourcing expertise to the innovation table. - Drive alignment and foster a culture of proactive partnership between innovation teams and the procurement function. - Manage internal customer feedback and supplier performance. Improve and reinforce Procurement's profile and recognition within the internal customer community Risk Management - Proactively identify supply continuity risks and develop mitigation plans. - Lead business continuity projects for ingredient spend area- collaborate with cross functional team to ensure strategy is aligned with business and prioritization is clear - Work with supplier on Business Contingency plans for supply risk Cost Optimization & Productivity - Drive ideation on cost saving projects with suppliers and cross functional teams - Drive implementation of productivity projects in the region and escalate for support at right time - Leverage data driven insights from analytical tools available Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategy for Ingredient Categories - Analyze spend data and understand the business needs under 7 step sourcing framework. - Provide market and supplier insights to maximize opportunities. - Conduct bids and negotiate high value supply agreements with key suppliers - Coordinate contract implementation and ensure smooth contract execution. - Executes complex sourcing strategies with a range of different interventions using the full set of tools, materials, techniques, and systems available. - Expected to give regular strategy updates and presentations to senior leadership stakeholders. Supplier Relationship Management - Select, build, and maintain long term relationships with supplier network. - Lead supplier development activities, set-up cross functional review meetings with suppliers to improve performance and further reduce costs. - Understand suppliers' approaches and decision-making processes and incorporate this into strategy - Travel to supplier locations to maintain connectivity and collaboration with various levels within supplier organizations.
