Route Operations Analyst

Role Description NILO® is one of the fastest growing Beverage Brands in the US. We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to support our Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations. This role focuses on optimizing delivery routes, supporting field execution, and driving operational decisions through data analysis, coordination, and real-time problem-solving. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, has strong organizational and analytical skills, and experience in route planning, logistics coordination, or field operations. - Build and optimize delivery routes based on store hours, geography, and route capacity. - Reassign and reschedule visits when field representatives are unavailable to ensure consistent coverage. - Integrate urgent “Hot Shot” visits into routes with minimal disruption. - Create one-time or special routes for supervisors to: - Resolve stores with execution issues. - Visit potential new retail accounts to strengthen underutilized routes. - Assign tasks to field representatives based on visit outcomes and merchandising needs. - Analyze store performance reports to: - Flag low-performing stores for potential deactivation or improvement in product execution. - Evaluate route performance and recommend new store additions to strengthen weaker routes. - Interpret data, store reports, and photo evidence to support decision-making. - Schedule, update, and coordinate food sampling (demo) events based on supervisor input and visit reports. - Work with retailer corporate buyers to ensure demo products arrive on time. Qualifications - 2+ years of experience in route planning, DSD operations, logistics coordination, field operations, or similar roles. - Experience in CPG, beverage, food distribution, merchandising, or retail operations is a strong plus. - Familiarity with service routes, field representatives, or merchandising workflows. - Strong analytical and route-planning ability. - Excellent time management and prioritization skills under changing conditions. - Proficiency with route optimization tools, mapping platforms, and scheduling systems. - Ability to interpret data, reports, and visual/photo evidence to drive decisions. - Strong communication skills with field teams, supervisors, and retail partners. - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to react quickly to operational disruptions. - High attention to detail and accuracy when planning routes or coordinating demos. - Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. - Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.
