• Serve as the dedicated Scrum Master for 2–3 agile teams • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives • Coach teams on accountability, ownership, and agile best practices • Ensure clear sprint goals, readiness, and realistic commitments • Identify, track, and remove blockers and impediments • Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and escalations • Partner with Product Owners and Engineering leaders to improve backlog readiness and flow • Improve sprint predictability, throughput, and delivery consistency • Ensure effective backlog refinement and story readiness • Drive actionable retrospectives with clear follow-through • Promote consistent agile practices while adapting to team needs • Identify systemic delivery challenges and lead improvement initiatives • Act as a Jira Administrator / Power User for assigned teams • Configure and maintain Jira workflows, boards, dashboards, and reports • Ensure consistent Jira usage and data integrity across teams • Own and monitor delivery metrics and flow indicators • Communicate delivery health, risks, and progress clearly to stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Scrum Master certification required (CSM, PSM, SAFe SSM, or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in software development environments
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Experience supporting multiple agile teams simultaneously
- Hands-on experience administering Jira
- Experience working with global or distributed teams

Role Description ASRC Federal is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support the Army’s Enterprise DevSecOps Platform (DSOP). The Senior Scrum Master will lead multiple Agile teams, ensure disciplined Agile execution, and drive team maturity across DSOP engineering, cybersecurity, and automation efforts. This role requires strong leadership, deep Agile experience, and the ability to coordinate complex dependencies in a high-visibility Army platform environment. - Lead Agile events including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for senior technical teams. - Partner with Product Owners to prioritize backlog content aligned to DSOP mission outcomes. - Track and manage team performance, sprint velocity, capacity, and delivery timelines. - Identify, escalate, and remove impediments across cross-functional engineering teams. - Drive continuous improvement efforts and elevate Agile maturity across the DSOP program. - Facilitate communication and alignment between infrastructure, security, automation, and platform engineering teams. - Develop and maintain Agile metrics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership and stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with Army, CECOM SEC, and DoD governance and security requirements. - Support risk management, dependency tracking, and coordination with external mission partners. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and managing complex scheduling activities that align with program and project requirements. You will play a critical role in maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), tracking key deliverables, and ensuring synchronization across cross-functional teams. Qualifications - Active SECRET Clearance. - 5–10 years of relevant scheduling or project management experience with a BA/BS or MA/MS degree (additional years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement). - Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and maintain schedules for complex projects in a high-paced, mission-critical environment. - Strong analytical skills with experience in Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS), risk analysis, and scheduling methodologies. - Proficiency in scheduling software and tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, or equivalent IMS tools. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitate communication, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders. Pay Range The proposed salary range for this position is: $68,400-$143,700. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
