Product Designer

• Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers and clients daily. • Lead and support ideation sessions, workshops, and presentations with clients online and in-person. • Translate user needs and business goals into UX foundations via user interviews, journey maps, workflows, IA, wireframes, prototypes, and testing. • Produce innovative visual designs that are unique and distinct to the client’s brand. • Ensure final design concepts are on-budget and deliver on product strategy goals. • Support Engineers through implementation by providing clear, comprehensive design specifications. • Help set the bar for our core design values and have a voice in improving our design process. • Give and receive design critiques to help constantly refine and push our work. • Participate in early sales conversations to understand client needs, constraints, and goals. • Contribute to design estimates, scoping, and phased approaches in partnership with the internal delivery team. • Support proposal and RFP responses by articulating design strategy, approach, and rationale. • Help identify risks, assumptions, and tradeoffs before work begins.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years designing digital products that have shipped and scaled.
  • Experience working directly with external clients in a consultancy or agency setting, including presenting work and incorporating feedback.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience presenting design decisions to non-design stakeholders.
  • Proven experience responding to RFPs and contributing to client proposals.
  • Experience shaping project scope, estimating design work, and planning within constraints.
  • A portfolio with at least 3 end-to-end examples demonstrating your proficiency in information, interaction, interface, and visual design.
  • A track record of shipping designs across various platforms (web, mobile, native applications etc.) and for common libraries such as Apple HIG and Material Design.
  • Expertise in Figma, including building and maintaining scalable, accessible design systems.
  • A track record of designing within technical constraints and delivering developer-ready design documentation and guidance.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI into your design process, with real-world examples showing impact, quality, and rigor.
