• Own Vista’s marketing technology stack, including email marketing platforms, campaign management systems, content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools, and digital analytics solutions; serve as the primary subject-matter expert across these platforms. • Administer MarTech platforms day-to-day, including user provisioning, system configuration, data hygiene, audience segmentation, and vendor relationship management. • Serve as the go-to resource for marketing team enablement, including platform training, adoption programs, and troubleshooting across the MarTech ecosystem. • Maintain a comprehensive MarTech tool inventory; track platform contracts, SLAs, and renewal timelines; and proactively identify consolidation or optimization opportunities across the stack. • Coordinate with the technology team on integrations between marketing platforms and core infrastructure, including Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, and other data systems to ensure seamless data flow and campaign execution. • Support data segmentation and audience management within Salesforce Data Cloud, partnering with marketing and technology teams to build, maintain, and activate audience segments that drive targeted investor and prospect outreach. • Leverage AI tools and automation platforms, including Claude and Claude Code, to accelerate campaign workflows, streamline data processing tasks, and identify opportunities to embed intelligent automation across the MarTech stack. • Maintain accurate CRM data across investor and prospect records, pipeline tracking, and fund activity. • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Salesforce to support pipeline visibility and management. • Prepare data-driven materials and analyses supporting investor outreach and fundraising campaigns. • Identify workflow gaps and partner with technology to improve or automate fundraising processes. • Partner with investor relations and distribution teams to translate business needs into system improvements.
• Embed with company engineering teams for focused 8 to 24 week engagements • Own delivery end to end • Work inside their repos, CI/CD, security review, and code standards • Leave behind systems their teams can operate, extend, and trust • Build advanced CodeGen and agentic workflows including custom subagents, skills, MCP servers, eval harnesses, background agents, and PR review automation • Implement evals, guardrails, observability, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints sized to risk • Pair program and prompt alongside their engineers as a teaching mechanism • Partner with engineering leadership to scope high-leverage opportunities with clear business metrics and acceptance criteria • Contribute patterns, accelerators, and reference implementations back to Vista's shared FDE and AI Ops playbooks for reuse across the portfolio
• Partner with portfolio company technology and product teams to identify and prioritize agentic AI use cases aligned with their product roadmaps and business objectives. • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI agent implementations using Vista’s Agentic Factory methodology, targeting MVP delivery in under a quarter. • Run rapid proof-of-value sprints that demonstrate measurable business impact, then guide portfolio companies from prototype through production deployment. • Lead AI maturity assessments across the portfolio using Vista’s scoring rubrics, identifying gaps and creating tailored improvement roadmaps. • Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for optimizing AI platform performance, scalability, and security. • Design scalable, resilient, and secure AI platforms leveraging public cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, GCP) while maintaining vendor independence through thoughtful abstraction layers.
• Prepare and review capital call and distribution calculations, notices, and related cash activity • Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial reporting, including financial statements, partner capital statements, and supporting workpapers • Support fund administrative activities, including cash management, expense review, and loan program maintenance • Participate in the implementation and optimization of financial and accounting systems, including allocation and reporting platforms • Develop process automations to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across GP Finance workflows • Leverage tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot to improve workflows, documentation, and analysis • Assist with cross-functional projects, partnering across finance and technology teams to deliver process and systems improvements
• Own and administer Vista’s compliance and legal technology platforms, including communications surveillance (Behavox), electronic communications archival (Global Relay), policy management, and regulatory reporting tools. • Manage day-to-day platform operations including user provisioning, configuration, data retention policies, lexicon tuning, alert management, and vendor coordination. • Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance and legal teams on technology support, training, and platform troubleshooting. • Maintain the legal & compliance tool inventory, track contracts, renewals, and licensing, and flag consolidation or modernization opportunities. • Coordinate with technology teams on integrations between legal & compliance platforms and core infrastructure (e.g., Salesforce, Snowflake, data lake, identity management systems). • Support the Firm’s efforts to explore and implement AI-driven automation solutions that streamline manual processes and reduce costs within Legal & Compliance. • Maintain a working understanding of the regulatory landscape impacting registered investment advisers, private equity firms, and broker-dealers, including SEC, FINRA, and applicable state and international requirements. • Translate evolving regulatory requirements into system configuration changes, new platform capabilities, and data retention or reporting enhancements. • Ensure that technology implementations and system changes meet compliance, audit, and recordkeeping obligations before deployment. • Support regulatory examinations and audits by producing technology-related documentation, data extracts, and system narratives as needed. • Monitor vendor regulatory posture and certifications, ensuring third-party platforms remain aligned with firm obligations. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Legal & Compliance, and related technology industry standards and best practices through regular peer benchmarking and active participation in industry events. • Lead or support technology projects from initiation through delivery, including new platform implementations, system migrations, and major enhancements. • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and risk registers, keeping stakeholders informed through regular status updates. • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Legal &Compliance, Information Security, and Technology to ensure seamless execution. • Manage vendor relationships and hold third-party providers accountable to delivery milestones, SLAs, and contractual commitments. • Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements from legal and compliance stakeholders, translating them into user stories, process maps, and functional specifications. • Understand L&C workflows and availably technology including legal expense management, fund formation and investors on-boarding, investors and entity (fund management), anti-money laundering, privacy, regulatory reporting , control room management, investment transaction for both PE and credit platforms, contracts review, third-party management, document and data archiving and management, and other legal and compliance workflows. • Identify workflow gaps, manual processes, and inefficiencies across the legal & compliance technology stack, and partner with technology to improve or automate them through use of AI and automation software. • Conduct UAT for system changes, ensuring solutions meet business and regulatory needs before deployment. • Track and report on KPIs for the legal & compliance technology stack—including alert volumes, false-positive rates, archival completeness, and review turnaround times—flagging issues proactively. • Support change management, documentation, and training as new tools and capabilities are deployed to legal and compliance users. • Build trusted working relationships with senior stakeholders across Legal & Compliance, Information Security, and Operations and collaborate with L&C partners such as CAPS, Finance and Investor Servicing. • Partner with the broader Information Technology team on initiative prioritization, delivery planning, and operational support. • Communicate proactively with stakeholders on project status, emerging risks, regulatory changes with technology implications, and upcoming system changes.
• Own the strategic direction and end-to-end delivery of Agentic Factory engagements across the portfolio, ensuring agentic AI becomes a durable competitive advantage for Vista companies. • Partner with portfolio company senior leadership — including CEOs, CTOs, and CPOs — to identify and prioritize the highest-value agentic use cases aligned with product roadmaps, revenue objectives, and operational efficiency goals. • Lead and govern rapid proof-of-value sprints that demonstrate measurable business impact, then drive portfolio companies from prototype through production at enterprise scale. • Oversee AI maturity assessments across the portfolio using Vista’s scoring rubrics, identifying gaps, setting improvement priorities, and ensuring tailored roadmaps translate into execution. • Ensure architectural quality across portfolio engagements, setting the standard for AI platform performance, scalability, security, and long-term maintainability. • Champion the Agentic Factory methodology across Vista’s ecosystem — refining it based on delivery learnings and scaling what works across new engagements. • Create a culture of technical delivery, excellence, and innovation. • Set and evolve Vista’s technical standards for AI platform architecture across the portfolio.
• Design and rapidly prototype user experiences for AI agents, conversational interfaces, and human-in-the-loop workflows as part of Agentic Factory engagements with portfolio companies. • Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes that bring agent interactions to life, moving from concept to testable artifact in days, not weeks. • Design the UX patterns for how agents communicate status, surface decisions for human review, handle errors gracefully, and build user trust over time. • Develop conversational flows, dialog models, and interaction patterns that feel natural in enterprise contexts where accuracy and auditability matter. • Partner with portfolio company product and engineering teams to translate agentic use cases into intuitive user experiences aligned with their existing products and user base. • Collaborate closely with AI engineers and data scientists within the Agentic Factory to ensure UX decisions are grounded in what the underlying models can reliably deliver. • Conduct targeted user research and usability testing during Agentic Factory sprints to inform, prioritize, and validate design decisions quickly and incorporate feedback into the next iteration.
• Partner with portfolio company leadership to define and refine product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned to Vista’s investment thesis and value creation plans. • Drive adoption of best-in-class product management practices across portfolio companies, with a strong emphasis on commercial outcomes (ARR growth, retention, expansion, pricing leverage). • Assess product-market fit, portfolio rationalization, platform strategy, and build/buy/partner decisions. • Translate market, customer, and competitive insights into actionable product priorities. • Establish and scale product operating models that emphasize accountability, speed, and measurable impact. • Drive consistency in product discovery, roadmap planning, delivery, and lifecycle management across portfolio companies. • Introduce and reinforce metrics-driven product management (e.g., OKRs, North Star metrics, outcome-based roadmaps). • Ensure tight integration between Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success in highly matrixed environments. • Coach, mentor, and develop CPOs, VPs of Product, and senior product leaders across the portfolio. • Leverage modern AI-powered product tools and workflows to improve product velocity and quality.
• Serve as an acting CISO for portfolio companies when needed • Build or mature cyber programs, including strategy, roadmap, governance • Run or oversee major incidents, bringing structure and calm during chaotic situations • Assess cyber maturity, identify improvements, and develop action plans • Design and execute end to end security programs across various dimensions • Advise CEOs and boards on cyber strategy and organizational design
• Build AI-First Workflows • Automate multi-step processes across CRM, email, messaging platforms, and data systems • Orchestrate LLM-powered agents for research, summarization, outreach, and follow-ups • Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to surface the right data at the right time • Connect APIs, webhooks, and automation tools to create a unified “system of insight” • Maintain two-way integrations between CRM and external data providers • Ensure data is enriched, clean, and continuously updated from trusted sources • Build AI memory for past interactions, key contacts, and organizational knowledge • Configure triggers that prompt timely, relevant engagement based on live data signals • Tune AI prompts and workflows for accuracy, brand tone, and business alignment • Partner with business leaders to identify high-friction workflows • Deliver MVP automations quickly, test impact, and scale successful pilots into production systems • Continuously refine orchestration logic to improve accuracy, speed, and user adoption
