As a Production Engineer, you will report to the Lead Production Engineer and support game teams by improving development workflows, tools, and day-to-day productivity. You will partner with developers and production to identify friction in pipelines, investigate root causes, and deliver solutions that improve how content is built and shipped. You will work across evolving systems and workflows, using scripting and data insights to reduce manual effort, increase reliability, and enable teams to focus on creating player value. Responsibilities - Support development teams by resolving workflow and tooling issues - Investigate root causes of production blockers and implement fixes - Test and validate in-development tools and content pipelines - Build scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks - Partner with production to improve team workflows and processes - Use data to evaluate impact of workflow improvements - Document tools, workflows, and solutions for team use Qualifications - Experience scripting or programming in an object-oriented language - Experience supporting developers with tools, pipelines, or workflows - Experience identifying issues and driving solutions in production environments - Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams - Experience testing tools or validating workflows in development - Experience using version control systems such as Perforce - Familiarity with game engines or DCC tools like Maya or Unreal Pay Transparency - North America COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). PAY RANGES - British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$104,500 - $142,800 CAD Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
