Role Description We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist to build the recruiting infrastructure that will take ACS from ~200 to ~600 employees in under 18 months. This is a systems and infrastructure builder role. You will own ATS optimization, recruiting funnel engineering, interview workflow standardization, analytics dashboards, and hiring manager enablement, turning recruiting from reactive coordination into an engineered, data-driven process that scales without adding proportional recruiter headcount. - Configure and optimize Ashby ATS as the foundation of recruiting infrastructure: - Design hiring workflows by role type - Standardize job-stage architecture - Build structured interview templates and scorecard frameworks - Configure automation rules, feedback SLAs, and interviewer permissions - Analyze stage-to-stage conversion metrics, identify drop-off drivers, and implement process improvements across: - Recruiter response speed - Interview scheduling - Feedback turnaround - Offer conversion - Design and build recruiting dashboards that leadership actually uses: - Hiring velocity by org - Offer acceptance rate - Interview throughput - Pipeline health - Recruiter capacity - Time-to-hire - Hiring manager responsiveness - Build structured interview kits by role family (engineering, technician, operations, leadership), including: - Question banks - Interviewer training resources - Scorecard calibration guidance - Debrief structure templates - Create hiring kickoff templates, interview participation expectations, and candidate evaluation guides for hiring managers: - Improve candidate experience by reducing scheduling friction - Clarifying timelines - Standardizing communication cadence Qualifications - 3–6+ years in recruiting operations, TA operations, recruiting systems, or recruiting analytics roles - Hands-on ATS configuration experience; Ashby is strongly preferred, with Lever, BambooHR, or Workday also valuable - Proven experience building recruiting dashboards, analyzing funnel conversion metrics, and improving hiring performance through data-driven process changes - Experience standardizing interview workflows, implementing feedback frameworks, and scaling recruiting operations in a high-growth environment (2–3x in 12 months) Requirements - Ashby ATS hands-on configuration and administration experience - Experience building interviewer training infrastructure and calibration programs - Experience supporting simultaneous hiring waves across engineering, technician, and operations roles - Background in defense tech, robotics, hardware, or manufacturing recruiting Benefits - Competitive salary - ACS Equity Package - Health, Dental, Vision Insurance - Paid Time Off
